The music is the best in the series. The art is the best in the series. The main characters are Lovely esp Vivi, Garnett, Zidane, and Steiner (for his development) Vivi is my fave FF character ever. It took me a long time to come around on VII but I do love it now. Second fave game in the series. From characters to music to story to its world. I like XII a lot mainly for its atmosphere and world that alone is one of my faves in the series. Just wish the story panned out better. It starts off cool with political turmoil. Just falls apart. FFVI is so ambitious for the hardware. I do and don't want a remake of this. I do in that I want to see that world fully realized but don't in fear of it falling into modern game trappings that dilute big worlds from feeling alive. |
IX was always my favorite, but I tried playing it again a few years ago and struggled to stick with it. Meanwhile I had no issues going back and replaying VI recently.
