Yeah, a story came out a year or so ago the writer of the game wrote child porn fics or something. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to it. Just nothing about that game looks remotely appealing or good and if people like that are behind it. Eww

Beat Kena! Very solid game overall, beautiful graphics, cool little story, very well utilized map and fun combat. Sony should definitely invest in them for future games.

Never played a FF game before but this looks like this might be the first one.

Final Fantasy XVI started scoring 90 in OpenCritic. Not bad! 

This can end as the highest score since Final Fantasy XII

I expected some turn-based widowers and the lack of diversity complaints to drag the score down. Also clueless journalists with auto-battle rings not understanding the gameplay. Seems like it happened for some reviews but not as often as I feared.

what really bothers me is i have to finish the game just to get a challenge. That not good game design, just give people options from the beginning.

Apparently ff16 performance is really bad and often drops below 1080. To reach 60fps in combat it goes as low as 720p which is disappointing. Quality mode is 1080 to 1440p to get mostly locked 30fps. Square Enix needs to use better engine for their games

I've been playing FF16 for a few hours now (got the game early since I live in Australia) and it definitely looks and runs worse than ff7 remake which is weird since this game was built specifically for the PS5. Story is great though so far
