Forums - Sony Discussion - PlayStation Nation |OT| Playing Astro Bot on the Horizon Until Dawn

Speaking of Final Fantasy - I've been playing FFVII Remake Intergrade and have to say I'm really really enjoying the game.

Aside from the weird mini game with the machine levers and shutting down the sun lamps - everything else about the game is great.

I just made it to Chapter 8 and beat Air Buster. Love how there's multiple phases to the boss battles, very action movie like. Combat is great, this is how an action RPG should be like especially for the FF series, wish FFXV was like this.

3 right now sounds a little high but I wouldn't be surprised if it's 3 by the end of business year (end of march). In the amazon of my country it's almost sold out for the 4th time since release but my country isn't the biggest ps market out there.

I actually disagree, for it to be hitting top 10 during peak holiday weeks and months, it means its moving notable numbers. Likely a fair bit more than it did during its launch period which was soft but consistent. If it was at 1.5m after 2months I think another 1.5m across Novemeber/December (holiday boost) is pretty realistic. Either way glad it's showing legs!

The more Astro sells the better lol.

It's a great game. I'm glad you're enjoying it and hope you continue to!

I enjoyed Astro's Playroom but I'm gonna wait for it to go on sale for around $40 or so for the base game before buying it.

If you can wait, yeah.

Easiest preorder I made last year tho, lol, worth every buck.

Yeah, its great. I also got the Astrobot themed controller. Looks awesome:)

Titania - my favorite Persona/Demon from the SMT/Persona series, glad they gave the SMTV version the Persona design instead of the SMT design.

Also screenshots between my playthrough of Persona 3 Portable (PSP) back in 2012 and Shin Megami Tensei V (NS) in 2025

Me too, got the God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot controller, both look great, indeed.

Finally finished Okami HD. I played the original back in 2006 when a friend brought it with him, but year 12 and the number of games I had back then meant that I didn't play it more than a few minutes. It only took 18 years to correct the error of my ways lol.

Great and unique game with a major flaw: It's not just "easy", the combat might well be the easiest ever in a memorable game that I played. I wasn't expecting this. I barely got hit until the final boss battle which is like the most sudden difficulty spike in a video game ever (Went from barely getting hit to using 3 Astral Pouches AND seeing the game over screen lol). The final boss is a blast, a shame the rest of the game's encounters including bosses are so poor in comparison. Hitboxes across the board should have been larger, it's super easy to evade virtually everything without paying much attention.

Even outside combat, I felt there was too much hand holding and red texts.

Thanks for the impressions.

Never got to play it but I will eventually in the future.

Please do! Difficulty aside, it's a special game and I'm very excited for the sequel.

In Okami, this music plays during an event leading to Kaguya. The piano in the background is rather similar to the middle part of Lunatic Princess, which is Kaguya's (Touhou Project) theme. Coincidental but cool.

And here's my favorite Okami soundtrack:

Short, simple, and breezy :)

Speaking of the final boss... the last section where you draw the [redacted] got me all teary eyed and had me pause the game for a couple of seconds. Just narratively perfect.
