Insomniac confirmed that there will not be any story DLC for Spider-Man 2. That's a shame. I noticed Insomniac hasn't put out any story DLC for any of their games this gen.

Probably run too lean to do so

I'm fine with it especially if it helps them move over to the next project quicker.

If that's the cost of being able to release a game every 2-3 years, so be it :)

good

I'm very curious to see how Horizon Lego does. The game looks great but I do think Sony have misinterpreted the attachments players have to that world & characters. IMO the lego styling and multiplayer experience would have been better suited as an expansion to other IPs like Ratchet even God of War... hell it could of been the perfect place to reboot the Ape Escape IP with a crazy adventure/party MP game inspired and pegged them as sonys equivalents to the Rabbids/Minions.

If it does well for the Horizon IP, that'll of course be great.

Besides GoW, Horizon is a vastly better selling, more popular and well-known IP than either Ratchet and Ape Escape. It also has 3 new games incoming, so it makes sense that Horizon was used. Its a kids-friendly gateway into the IP at large.

But I imagine this is something Guerilla pursued more than Sony looking to jump into a partnership with Lego.

Sonic x Shadow Generations is averaging a 80 on Metacritic right now, seems like the new Shadow levels are pretty good.
Will experience both Sonic Generations and Shadow Generations for the first time, I'm looking foward to it.

I'm currently playing Sonic CD via the Origins collection for the first time too and everything it does right it does another very wrong too, the game is purposedly designed to be as annoying and frustating as possible, looks amazing and having the different versions of the stages are cool but I can't believe some people think this is the best classic Sonic game... hopefully it gets a lot better when you already know it well but Sonic 1, 2 and 3 are a lot of levels above CD.

I would love to buy the games you listed (a GOW LEGO game yes please) but let's think about merch you can sell after the game.

From Ratchet you can sell the ship but what kind of sets can you sell from GOW or AE? I think about the Halo Mega Construx and yes the figures are cute but the sets are as generic as they can get. I would love to get lego Kratos and Atreus but the LEGO business is about selling toys and if Horizon Adventures hits then you can sell a big set for every machine and let's be honest the machines in LEGO would be awesome, they even hired LEGO specialists to build everything in the game so the blue print is already there, LEGO only needs to print them. That's why Horizon is their first proposal in the LEGO world, because the IP has the best option to sell toys. At least from my point of view.
