This would be great cause it would help making the PS3 digital libraries b/c.

Some of these were featured in the Nvidia leak, some are sequels and obvious candidates for being ported.

Easiest cold read of all time, no leak needed. Then you just say some ports were delayed in case they don't materialize just yet.

I'm sure they would have the ability to do so, but that's not really what they're there for. 

Sony has a team for those kinds of tasks already. There is an emulation team somewhere else, that is probably not part of "PlayStation", but under the Sony Interactive Entertainment banner. They're surely working on a PS2 emulator. I'm sure they're at the very least researching a PS3 emulator. 

Yep, it's more of a question of "when" and not if. 

I bought my ps5 second hand just a few months ago and unfortunately the controller came with extremely mild stock drift, so mild I didn't know it had any till a few weeks of playing it. Now it's got bad enough to annoy me, so time to perform surgery on it and hope I can save myself £60. I'd hate to have to buy a new controller just before the V2 is likely to launch too lol.

Loving Granblue Fantasy Relink (demo), I would get the full game if I had more free time. So many games to play, so little time T_T

You're right, but is this team really getting much done lately? I'd hope a PS2 emulator (and a Vita one) appear this year at the very least. ANd I think Nixxies skillset has lateral movement over to helping.

Nonetheless, I'd rather PS3 BC rather than PS3 remasters. I'd actually prefer Nixxies to work on PSVR ports to PS5/ PC than PS3 remasters when an emulator should be a viable option of sorts by now. 

Aren't all those PS2 on PS4 titles like Dark Cloud etc using emulation? So they already have a PS2 emulator that works on PS5 they just haven't released nearly enough games that use it.

With a jailbreak PS4 you can use the emulator with any PS2 iso apparently but compatibility is hit or miss.

It looks like they've been releasing more PS1 and PSP titles (not complaining lol).

1st-Party games are looking better this year than last. A lot of people could be forgiven for thinking it was just Spider-Man 2 last year since the other titles were PSVR2, MLB, and some PC ports.
