When the only tool you have in your toolbox is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. The American approach to policing in a nutshell.

Basically every American has to think about every encounter they have with police but also with just your average person on the street.  As more and more America push for guns to be front and center to their lives you basically have to get one.  Now every confrontation with someone can end in death because when everyone is armed its the person who shoots first who gets to claim self defense and the dead person just hopes there is video saying different.  We see it happening more everyday in the news where someone one is having an argument and bam a gun comes out as the tool to settle it.

Some people cannot comprehend the concept of "disproportionate response" (on second thought, they understand it perfectly when it's convenient).

She is innocent in that her "crime" was too minor to justify being shot 3 times in the head and then be insulted and slandered as a "deranged leftist" who deliberately tried ro run officers over.

The list of slanderers include the two highest ranking officials of the most powerful country on the planet, the wealthiest piece of shit on the planet, and one of the world's most popular streamers.

They understand "disproportionate response" just fine, they just apply it very unevenly.

One of "the world's most popular streamers"? Let me guess, Tim Pool or Asmongold?

The lord of cockroaches.

Those "NCPD Safe and Sound" videos CD Projekt put out were supposed to be funny videos advertising Cyberpunk 2077, not actual PSAs. But here we are. And we're all Mr. Puggins.

I tried to embed them, but got the same Error 153. What's going on with the YouTube player on this site?

Asmon probably loves to be called that.

Funny that he had problems with Elon Musk back then.

Like magnets they attract each other.

Will never understand why so many people watch this dude's opinion about politics, other countries, humans or anything when he has absolutely no clue about that. That dude barely leaves his house and may never see another country to experience that culture, probably doesn't talk to humans outside his circle or anything and he's the guy so many listen to when talking about all of that and taking his opinion as the correct one.

Anyway, it's looking pretty dangerous for Sudetenland... I mean, Greenland.

Does Trump not see the irony in his post at all? Probably not. At least Denmark didn't mass murder the natives, put the survivors in reservations and made a national holiday out of it.

Not that Denmark is innocent, far from it, but they're on the path of reconciliation now

The Inuit don't want Trump there

Greenlandic politician who fought for his people's autonomy wants U.S. to back off

https://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/greenland-threats-aqqaluk-lynge-9.7035614

'We have a very serious problem, and we need Canada's support,' says Aqqaluk Lynge

Lynge, a former member of Greenland's parliament, is one of the founders of the pro-Greenlandic independence party Inuit Ataqatigiit. But these days, as the U.S. once again threatens to annex Greenland, Lynge is loudly reminding the world that his homeland is a free and self-governing territory of the Danish commonwealth.

Greenland's dark history - and does it want Trump?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gpgqqzqymo

One poll of Greenlanders suggested only 6% of Greenlanders want their country to become part of the US, with 9% undecided and 85% against.

Opinion poll in Greenland, January 2025

https://www.veriangroup.com/news-and-insights/opinion-poll-greenland-2025

56% of Greenlanders answer that they would vote yes to Greenlandic independence if a referendum were held today, 28% would vote no, and 17% do not know what they would vote for.

But who cares what the people living in their own country want... The only 'nice things' Trump will do is sell Greenland's resources to his billionaire buddies for exploitation.
