What a fucking embarrassment of a country America is.

"Trump has brought so much respect back to America. They were laughing thinking about dealing with Biden."

- I'm sure someone out there believes this unironically.

Most MAGA still fervently believe it.

But they should ask themselves: Would this be any worse than them constantly facepalming thinking about Trump, let alone dealing with him? And directly in front of him during a press conference no less?

“Look, here's burial sites all over the place. These are all white farmers that are being buried,” Donald Trump said during today’s White House meeting with South Africa’s president.

The image he was holding up, however, is of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Time to whip out the fake tattoos.

And those were Black women being murdered, not White women.

Mahmoud Khalil’s wife slams US refusal to let him hold newborn son

US authorities have refused to allow Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University student detained for his Palestine advocacy, to hold his newborn son as his US immigration detention drags on, Khalil’s legal team says.

In a statement, the American Civil Liberties Union said US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and private prison contractor GEO Group have refused to allow a contact visit between Khalil and his family.

A graduate student and legal permanent resident, Khalil has been detained since March 8 in a push to deport him over his participation in campus protests for Gaza last year. He is one of several pro-Palestinian students that the Trump administration has targeted for deportation.

“I am furious at the cruelty and inhumanity of this system that dares to call itself just,” Khalil’s wife, Noor Abdalla, said in a statement denouncing ICE’s decision to bar Khalil from being able to meet their son.

“This is not just heartless. It is deliberate violence, the calculated cruelty of a government that tears families apart without remorse,” Abdalla said.

“And I cannot ignore the echoes of this pain in the stories of Palestinian families, torn apart by Israeli military prisons and bombs, denied dignity, denied life. Our struggle is not isolated. This system is unjust, and we will fight until Mahmoud is home.”

‘History will not forget US complicity’ in Gaza crimes: Bernie Sanders

US Senator Bernie Sanders has renewed his push to suspend American military aid to Israel as it wages war on Palestinians in Gaza.

“Almost the entire population of Gaza is acutely malnourished and many are on the brink of starvation,” Sanders wrote in a post on X. “History will not forget US complicity in enabling this horrific humanitarian disaster.”

The US provides at least $3.8bn in military aid to Israel annually and has provided billions more since the Israeli military began its Gaza bombardment in October 2023.

Actually over 18 billion so far for the current genocide. Next to providing political cover, military intelligence, threats to the ICC/ICJ, spreading disinformation and outright lies, suppressing free speech, smearing UNWRA and withholding funds, and more.

I wonder if JD Vance is thinking, there is a point in time I can assume the president office if we continue to let Trump speak in these public situations.

BREAKING: The House of Representatives just passed a bill that will cut billions of dollars from Medicaid.

Medicaid is a lifeline for millions of people across the country, including more than 15 million people with disabilities. The Senate must reject this dangerous bill.

House Republicans passed a federal budget bill by a vote of 215 – 214 early Thursday morning that includes massive cuts for Medicare and Medicaid in order to extend tax breaks to billionaires. It now goes to the Senate.

Dead in Senate.

Hopefully.

Don't worry though, the US media is stepping up to the plate while America has a senile fascist in charge!

What I really don't understand is what the SA president did here.

It was perfectly obvious what was going to happen, a Selenski-style "meeting". Trump more than signaled it with his comments about "white genocide" the days and weeks ahead of the "meeting". The African president should have been thoroughly prepared for what Trump was going to do and how to counterattack. I don't think South Africa is that dependent on the US so there was a good chance to play tit-for-tat and not play the "I'm sorry card". Unlike Selenski, who is in a bad spot in whatever he might be confronted with, the SA president was in a good spot to embarass Trump in every way possible.

Trump is more than capable to do that all by himself, and he did. And ‘I’m Sorry I Don’t Have a Plane to Give You’ was a brilliant jab at Qatar and Trump.

Ramaphosa did the right thing by not stooping down to Trump's level. He kept it professional with clear, honest answers, speaking truth rather than engaging with Trump's right wing conspiracy lies.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz9yyd2epk2o

"Nyhontso applauded Ramaphosa for keeping his composure, rather than firing back at Trump when he ambushed him, with guns blazing. Some also commended the South African president for his tactics - bringing along famous Afrikaner golfers to the meeting to defuse tensions."

South Africa needs more trade to solve the 32% unemployment rate responsible for the high crime rate. And Americans do buy a lot!

Note Trump didn't dare bring up South Africa's genocide case at the ICJ against Israel. Trump is a coward and instead went with the white genocide myth, just making himself look stupid. The only people that believe that nonsense are not going to change their mind anyway by anything Ramaphosa could have said.

So most of you guys are pretyy well read and you probably already realize this but Turmp is a race paiting buffoon. The reason why white farmers are being targeted has nothing to do with their race and more to do with the fact that they actually have the land which is just a consequence of apartheid. So the South African president and his ministers were hitting the nail on the head when they said that they biggest cause of the criminality in their country is econoic turmoil. But Trump has been very successful at playing that white victimhood card. But if you pay attention the result with him is always the same. He projects victimhood, completely ignores the actual root cause and then proceeds to use this victimhood as a way to go after the 'others'. And the real kicker is that he has been very blessed financially. So seeing him trying to reprecent the 'victims' is laughable at best. Its funny how to Trump in America the Immigrants are causing the problems but in Africa the immigrants are the victims.... but please lets not go there.

Harvard should really consider revoking the degrees of any top 100 Trump donors and the family members who hold degrees from Harvard.
