His chances of dying behind bars is extraordinarily high.

If Republicans still nominate him for president the party should be desolvolved in its entity. At some point we have to intervene if we see someone walking into a wall over and over again.

Once Donald Trump dies, his less controversial brother Raul Trump can take over the party.

Sure it won't be any of his children?

There goes another one.

Lets see how much money Trump is able to campaign for after this indictment.  A recent poll showed that even though a lot of GOP actually do believe Trump is guilty of federal crimes, they will still vote for him as president.  Every indictment is a way to pad those coffers tough the documents case did not get the same level of support as the New York case.  Should be interesting to see how this one will fare and if the Georgia case also get green lit.

You believe he will serve time behind bars, I am actually not sure of that.  I am sure he will get prosecuted , I am not so sure about him serving any time in prison.  If Biden does not pardon him which could happen under the condition he remove himself from politics or whatever GOP person get in the White House will do it on the first day they serve.    Either way the GOP will make a martyr to him so we will see how that plays out.

I totally understand what you mean here.  Yes I do expect jail time simply because that's what his crimes call for and I think people will get over it.  I also think ge will lose the election from a jail cell and I think this embarrassment will be exactly what the GOP needs.

Well, Biden doubled Trump's fundraising totals last quarter despite all that, so I'm not particularly worried about Trump getting a funding boost off of a third indictment. It really speaks to the sickness in this country that such an obviously, cartoonishly corrupt and incompetent man can still have a real shot at the presidency, though.

I think we will be moving into uncharted territory because I believe even if Trump is convicted, he will still win the GOP nomination.  The GOP are pretty much going to live or die based on Trump but as for Trump winning anything even if he does not get convicted, I do not believe that will happen.  The GOP is way to focus on their base and while they can feel comfort in believing that the 2020 election was stolen it was not.

In order to become President the most important group is the independents.  We know that GOP will vote not matter what on whoever gets the nomination while the Dems will do the same.  Politically, I believe the parts as far as who recognize themselves as GOP or Dem are pretty close.  What usually win the President elections is getting the independents to vote and A lot of independents are not going to vote for Trump, hell I have a even less favorable opinion that DeSantis has national appeal as well.

The thing is while I do believe Trump should definitely serve time and have a cell mate named Big D**K Willy, what will happen is that Biden will be urged to pardon him on preserving US as sending a ex President to jail especially a very popular one may be considered something that will civil unrest.  Now I hope Biden throws that out the window and sell let him burn but we will see the heart of Biden if he is presented with that decision.

I was sick of hearing about Trump years ago. Hopefully once he's thrown in the oubliette, and we won't have to hear about him anymore.

If you believe that will stop the Trump train, I got a bridge to sell you.  If Trump actually goes to jail we will see even more of Trump and the GOP using him as a rally cry.  Its going to be constant news since he would be the first President to grace the prison halls and knowing our luck, some idiot will let him continue to use this social media account so he can cry us a river of tears from jail.
