Is there any article about what you do with an actual indicted president?
Solitary Confinement?
Do they clear out an entire wing of a prison?
Secret Service as jail guards?

Or do they actually throw him in gen pop?

He would not see the inside of a cell.  If anything he would be home confined or something along those lines.  He would b a liability in jail so I am sure actually serving time in jail is not going to happen.

If he were convicted on these charges, I agree but could they really keep him on home confinement if he were to get charged later on in Georgia racketeering, election fraud etc?

Yes, it won't change much for Trump. President or Home confined, he'll just play golf anyway.

I still believe that an ex-president cannot go to a physical jail.  The same Secret service that protect him will need to be his jailors.  It would be interesting how that all would go down but we are in uncharted waters.  Either way I am positive he will never see a jail cell.  Crazy part is since all of these are state criminal charges, even if Biden wanted to pardon Trump, he cannot.

That's what I'm trying to debate in my head.

He can't go to a physical jail, but with so many possibly indictments in theory if they all stuck would be serious jail time.

You can't just let a rich white person not go to jail. There would be riots if he got convicted at things and his penalty was staying at his resort and just golfing.

Would they "build" a stay at home jail? Like a secret jail in the middle of no where. No bars, but also no friends, no golfing etc.

Orange is the New Orange

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

To those asking. Yes he can go to jail. If convicted of a felony there are usually minimum jail times associated and he would not be able to escape it. It would require the NY governor to pardon him. But he isn't the President. He is, in fact, a private citizen. When trying to access what is possible just think about how the law would apply to the average citizen.

The only caveat is the Secret Service.  Would they just leave him in the custody of the prison and then pick him up after he serves his term or would they post someone outside of his cell.  That's tricky but nothing prevents him from going to jail.

So the GOP is saying indicting the president over his dealings in NY will increase more political prosecutions and I am thinking let the good times roll. What the GOP needs to is stop crying about an ex-President being charged with crimes and worry about if those crimes are legit. All this talk before hand about supporting the rule of law is becoming increasingly just talk on their part. Let the process work if you believe in it and if you don't then just say so because I am sure their are a lot of Americans sitting in jail would love to have that conversation.

I completely don't understand how anyone can like MTG.
