Tunic, A Plagues Tale: Requiem, Halo Infinite, Flight Sim, Wasteland 3, Pentiment, Chained Echoes, Crusader King 3, Gears Tactic, Age of Empires, Grounded, and more. Clearly you don't have a grasp of what has released day 1 or likely what's on GP for that matter.

I got this...

Not a first party/now a multiplat, not a first party/multiplat, same old halo/no cultural impact, not a real game, multiplat/was made before they bought them, no impact, not first party, no idea what that is, RTS too hard so doesn't count, another RTS plus plays better on pc, GaaS/doesn't count.

Done.

Xbox might as well close shop. Phil can follow his dream of being a used car salesman now.

Skewed perception at its finest.

Sure.

Just as saying "there are high reviewed games on GP" and "reviews don't matter anyway" in the same post.

Jeez. Here is what Spade said - "Still pretty good/favourable scores overall for their first game."

Why are you so insistent to tell him that he is wrong and on what grounds are you using? You haven't stated them, is it personal opinion? Meta's own system considers that score to be 1 away from "Generally Favourable" and at worst it's at the very top of "Mixed/Average" so why are you making such a big deal about this?

You're also ignoring the part where he says "for their first game"

I'm also not sure where Spade is contradicting himself on the basis of pointing out that there are highly reviewed titles on Game Pass whilst also saying he doesn't really care about review scores on a personal level.

Context Matters.

He made the point that Game Pass has highly reviewed titles in response to the claim that Game Pass has a reputation of having low scored titles, that is an claim based upon factual evidence. His later statement of not caring about reviews is a statement of personal opinion.

Think Shika mentioned this before, but what is with the dislikes on Redfall lol. Always seem to be pretty harsh. Just not liking the tone I guess?

I think it is a combination of several factors personally:

  1. When the leakers like Jez and Grubb first started talking about Redfall, they likened it to Dishonored with Vampires, so quite alot of people who saw those early leaks went in expecting a game like Vampyr, where you play as a Vampire complete with Dishonored like magical Vampire powers, combined with Arkane's usual flavor of immersive sim storytelling, which would have been a fantastic combination. Those people were disappointed when the game was revealed and it was a 4 player co-op thing where the vampires are the enemies rather than you playing as a Vampire.
  2. When Redfall was first trademarked by Bethesda, the Elder Scrolls fanbase thought it was going to be the subtitle for Elder Scrolls 6. Because TES 6 is rumored to be fully or at least half set in Hammerfell, which is the region of Tamriel where the Redguard race is native, people assumed that Redfall referred to to the fall of the Redguard, presumably to the Aldmeri Dominion, who had fended off the initial assault of the Aldmeri Dominion in the Skyrim timeline, but the Aldmeri seek total domination of all of Tamriel, they clearly would eventually attack Hammerfell again, so the name would have made sense for a TES 6 where Hammerfell is an active warzone between the Redguard and the Aldmeri Dominion. When it turned out that Redfall was an Arkane game, the Elder Scrolls fans were disappointed.
  3. There were alot of comments in the earlier trailers about how the writing and humor seemed very gen Z focused, which Arkane's primarily older, gen X and Millennial fanbase, found to be cringey (Saints Row reboot had much the same problem, with a primarily older fanbase that were mad because it's writing seemed to be focused on a younger audience). There were lots of comments stating that it felt like Arkane was chasing the Fortnite crowd, things like that. Here is one top comment I just found on one of the earlier trailers: "A 4 player co-op FPS game with snarky college students that say lines such as "heh, nothing personnel" and "yup, that's me". The gaming industry is so innovative!"
  4. It's initial CGI trailer reveal was on the Xbox Summer 2021 show, which people felt was too CGI trailer focused already, people wanted more gameplay reveals that year and they just weren't getting them.
  5. The playtest leaker for Redfall described it as similar to Borderlands and Left 4 Dead, which instantly turned alot of people off, as they had already feared it was like Borderlands and Left 4 Dead because of the CGI trailer.
  6. When the gameplay was shown a year later, the graphics were fairly underwhelming, and it seemed to confirm alot of fears about the game playing like Borderlands and Left 4 Dead
