Could very well have been a public ad to potential buyers. This would explain why Matthew Ball said "no comment" when asked why Senua was getting a PS5 release.

That explains the "no comment"! holy hell... it was already in the plans back then.

That is what I figured. Possible layoffs, but no way they would shut down id Software.

Regarding Double fine it's a shame they made the focus of Fern online multiplayer, it looks like it could be a really fun concept for local co-op but ofbviously would have to be designed around that.

You mean Kiln? Could have been a fun co-op game, yeah. Like It Takes Two.

Double Fine has several small teams working on small titles. They've released Keeper and Kiln in the last year.

Kiln is pretty fun, tho a co-op game from double fine would've went platinum.

Also, can't believe i'm saying this but Kiln could've really benefited from the Free2Play model, it's lowkey perfectly set up for it. Also a way to monetize Gamepass players. I don't really see many people spending $20 on a MP game that will not last longer than this year (that's being generous, probably has a few months left)

Very much doubt this will see the light of day. Avowed didn't perform very much better than Outer Worlds 2 going by TrueAchievements player count (198k Avowed, 98k Outer Worlds 2, and Avowed had 8 more months on the market), and we already heard back in February that Outer Worlds 2 underperformed Xbox expectations and that a 3rd wasn't in development. The chances of Asha not putting all of Obsidian at once on Fallout seem very low considering she said she wanted to speed up Fallout releases.

NateTheHate has indicated that things are worse beyond what we're currently aware of.

"And things still are not over. Expect more blood to be spilled at Microsoft in the coming days/weeks. A sad and shitty situation in every sense."

Avowed was better than Outer worlds but felt to much like an RPG from 2010 but then worse. Obsidian is lucky with Grounded tho.

CoD Blackops 1+2 are being ported to playstation next month. With multiplayer too.

Not sure if Xbox is getting an updated version or not because oit already has the BC version. Hopefully does though because I think it didn't get a 4k BC update or anything and would be nice for the player base to get revitalised.
