Hopefully South of Midnight gets the same treatment. Maybe bundled with the Deluxe Edition bundled with OST & dev diary.

I need more physical releases to fill my Xbox Series X games library. 30-40 physical games for 5 years is not great, I have more games for WiiU.

Looks like in the Fall of 2023, Amy Hood put a 30% profit margin mandate on the Xbox division, which was RIGHT after the ABK merger was finalized.
Suddenly all the decision making that Xbox leadership makes sense. They’ve been given a practically impossible task. Hood must’ve seen that ABK once hit that margin and figured that everyone else could do it as well.

I figured all these changes were due to higher ups at Microsoft forcing them to increase profit margins. I'm not sure any bigger gaming company comes close to 30% profit margins.

The end of subsidized hardware, the rise in gamepass prices, the multiplatform approach, all decisions that were needed for xbox to even attempt such a high target. You can't have these type of profit margins keeping your games exclusive to a 40-60m console platform who's hardware is sold at a loss.
Microsoft Loses Up to $200 on Every Xbox Console Sold | PCMag
Unfortunately I don't think we'll get great value for money hardware from MS again. I don't see them taking a loss on hardware sales ever again. Magnus is going to to be so expensive for price to performance compared to previous consoles.

Max definitely touched on the pros and cons of MS strategy with the ROG Ally Xbox and in general MS direction with their next gen console/PC Hybrid. MS really need to get that software part down where when you are in Xbox mode, you never have to exit out of it to mess with windows stuff. It needs to be fully integrated and supported with all the features needed to be in a console shell. MS needs to partner with Valve and the rest of the stores and provide the hooks to make a seamless install of those services and if they really are paying attention, also make it easy to play mobile games on the hardware as well. Make the next Xbox console a true gamers paradise that allows you to play any game you and make it a seamless console experience and that device will sell.

Same here. But it might be event worst, MS may just have completely inserted themselves in the handling of such decision.
