Once upon a time, for 60$ you could buy a years worth of "Xbox live gold". You would get 2-3 games pr month, along with that, which were "free to keep forever".
time change.
At this point I feel bad for xbox users. I say come to PC.
Epic games store gives 2 free games every week, and usually there is one from Steam as well. Games are much cheaper on steam (sales). And even PC gamepass is cheaper.
My PC is hooked up to the tv. Useing a Dual sense.
PC gaming is honestly not bad.

I tried going to PC gaming and I left soon after. I can't stand the issues I was having. Also I hate the ecosystem and how it doesn't work well for gaming. If I'm playing a game and my friend gets online, it's hard as hell to try and join him in a chat while I'm playing a game. While on console it's very simple to do. Exiting games is also such a choir in some games. Switching games can be a PIA because of that to. I also had random issues with my controller disconnecting, not being able to use wired mics from my couch, older games like Arkham city just flat out not working and it was a known issue that had a whole Steam thread on it.
I sold everything got a PS5 and couldn't be happier.

I think you just had a bad experience lol. I built 13 gaming PCs for my brother in laws and their friends over the past couple of years that were switching from console gaming, and none of them have had issues the way you're describing to this day. I was even playing Arkham City just a couple of weeks ago with 0 issues with no tweaks or mods needed.
If most PC gamers experienced the same unfortunate issues you had, no one would bother gaming on PC. It's the exception rather than the rule.
Important is that you're happy with the setup you got!
