I played a bit of South of Midnight yesterday, and have to say it's really beautiful, and charming. Hopefully Xbox continues to nurture and grow that team

It's a lot darker than I thought it would be, Lol. But I like that, it just took me by surprise.

But I'm about half way in I think and yeah, it's beautiful, the art-style is gorgeous, the OST is banging, the voice acting is great, the characters and story are well written, it basically excels in everything in the artistic medium and feels like it has real soul behind it. The combat/platforming is fine, it isn't anything special but it's not frustrating me thus far or boring me, it just could be a bit more unique and fluid.

I really love this concept though, I'm already thinking in my head of sequels, or exploring other folklore creatures not necessarily only in southern America, but hey there's still a lot they could do in southern America with Hazel still, I just love the idea of these relatively unknown folklore tales being brought to life and the themes around them.

Also I have the Two-Toed Tom song stuck in my head now

Microsoft's acquisition of Activision-Blizzard has been a story of ups and downs to some degree. We got Call of Duty in Xbox Game Pass, we've seen World of Warcraft begin to thrive again with greater creative freedom, and I have it on good authority that some very loved, dormant Activision-Blizzard IP are slated for a come back...more about that another time.

Windows Central

Starcraft and/or Spyro

Why they put Banjo in the source ;(

ESO 2025 Content Pass Editions & Purchase Rewards - The Elder Scrolls Online

Maybe it's just me but "2025 content pass" just sounds weird like it sounds more monetized than calling it an expansion name like the have previously done even if it's basically the same price as a new zone + 2 Dungeon packs would of cost you before.

Big grain of salt, but this reddit leaker claims he was in a focus group Activision did and that Prototype is the revived dormant ABK IP:

He also posted some info on CoD 2025 for those interested.

I really hope this is true. A modern era Prototype could be an absolute banger.

Strange, I thought for some reason Prototype was a EA IP lol

Agreed. I got to the part where they introduced the giant gator. I'm having a good time with it.
