Did you guys know Ara: History Untold released back in late September?
I remember seeing it in one of the shows, about upcoming games.... and then, nothing?

This was supposed to be the game that kills the Civ Series? Its just odd it launched, and I'd swear there was like 0 marketing for it.
I had no idea it was out already.

It is just one of those games that people put on xbox lists but doesn't really matter, I mean age of mythology and Towerborne also released and people did not care.

similar fate with Starfield Shattered space, if you zoom in you can see a small bump in players when the dlc released

Hum?

Towerbone is on Steam not Game Pass... Which is the ONLY reason why I did not try it yet, I am looking forward for it but I am waiting for a Game Pass release.I am very hyped for it and will play the hell out of it with my kids when it comes out. So it has nothing to do with not caring...

And for History Untold; the game is not bad but I do not think anyone pretended that it was a Civ killer (people needs to stop with this anyway, everytime a game comes out; it should be a "blah blah" killer...); no it was just another 4X games like many and while it is not bad, it is just not my taste.

And for Starfield? Where tdid you get that; the expansion is being played by a lot of people (and in my entourage I can tell you that everybody was bought or played Starfield played the expansion too...)

I think you are assuming stuff based on your own experience because I can see the opposite around me. Starfield expansion is played a lot and I personally loved it. Don'T mix up Steam and Game Pass.

Man, I thought the Halo 2 E3 demo was coming to MCC on console too lol. It's just the previously announced Steam Workshop mod. Still a lot of great stuff in store. Early previews of the new SMG are pretty positive and the 3rd person mode looks incredibly fun!

Cause the games came out and it went quiet fast a shame because I was kind of interested for Towerborne.

I believe your entourage may play it a lot, but when on steam the bump was only a few 1000 people around the DLC release date.  While on xbox the achievement rate for the first Achievement in the DLC is around 0.80%....   less than 100K people that just low.. especially with all the trailers on events etc..

SDV 1.6 is out. Achievements aren’t fully retroactive, for perfection you’ll have just go back up to the summit, for Ginger island just warp there etc.

But would you not agree that most people looking for those GamePass games (or Ara) are not really looking to buy them on Steam?
The majority of Startfield players are also on GamePass, not Steam.

Yourself? Are you going to buy Towerbone on Steam or would you wait for a GamePass release?

For Ara. I mean; yah while the game was not bad; I do not think it got the proper marketing

Ara and so on are typical steam games, Towerborne for myself I wait,    The achievement rate is from the xbox console one and Starfield did very well on steam with 250 million in sales last year but only a few thousand of them seem to come back for the DLC.  While they are making more DLC seems like a waste but ofcourse it is free and it updates the game thats fine.

I'm glad I didn't buy Episode Aigis. I wouldn't even consider it on PS (I have P3Reload on PS4/PS5) unless it's at a big discount.
It takes away almost all the socialization gameplay of Persona 3 and the dungeon crawling is way too similar to a lot of Persona 3 and is even more repetitive. And while the story does not ruin Persona 3's amazing story, it does undermine it at least a little.
It's about a 7/10, while I gave Persona 3 Portable a 9/10 and Persona 3 Reload a 10/10. I never played Persona 3 FES with The Journey or The Answer.
Game Pass gamers, play Persona 3 Reload before it leaves in February 2025. Consider Episode Aigis but it's not essential.

Finished Hogwarts Legacy.

Decent graphics even in performance mode which works well for the most part. Had some very rare but severe drops here and there. Doesn't have an impact on the game though.

Story is good enough but not that deep really and the big antagonist isn't anywhere close to being as frightening as Voldemort.

World design is awesome. Hogwarts castle is absolutely massive and it's a joy to see all the parts that were in the movies. The area around Hogwarts is also very vast. Characters are great for the most part.

Shame there's no Quidditch in the game but other than that the game simply feels complete although I wish there were more beasts and more enemy variety.

There are a lot of spells in the game and most of them do quite unique things in combat and for puzzles. However, I think the puzzles are too simple. They could've done more with it. Combat itself is also pretty simple if you can dodge/parry well. You'll be fighting tons of spiders, goblins and wizards and not much else tbh. so there's definitely a lack of enemy types that would require you to use a different strategy.

Took me a little over 20 hours to finish the main story and a handful of side missions. There are still lots of side quests left, so the game's quite meaty.

I certainly recommend playing it and if you're a Harry Potter fan it's definitely a must play. I have big hopes for the sequel.
