Rare Xbot W. Not supporting plagiarized work. Finally Xbots not buying and supporting games comes in positively.

If the next consoles are digital only, then I'll be hanging up my Playstation and Xbox shoes and just wear my Mario hat.

I'm fine with being digital only - 95% or so of my game purchases are digital lol

Hell, I dont even have a single physical Xbox game.

I was going to create a thread asking this quesiton. But I think it is better to ask here. Do you think xbox achivments should have a trophy system where you get an overall special achivment for completing the game?

Many want a final completion achievement on Xbox. We know that an Xbox Achievements revamp is coming sometime this year, so hopefully that is part of it.

7m on Steam alone is insane.

Though I imagine the vast majority on Xbox/Windows Store are playing via Game Pass.

I'd guess around 8m players total.

TrueAchievements alone is tracking 115k of their accounts as playing Palworld.

Hey guys, I have a general question regarding backwards compatibility.

I was never an Xbox guy so I have mostly missed out on previous gen console exclusives. I am looking for the best way to play physical games from the OG Xbox and 360. What would be the best Xbox model of the past 2 gens to grab if my main use for it is BC?

Xbox 360 is the best option for compatibility but some of the newer consoles have the advantage of playing select older titles at higher resolutions and framerates.

Xbox 360 Compatibility List (462 Xbox and all 360 titles)

XBO/Xbox Series Compatibility List (63 Xbox and 633 Xbox 360 titles)

Recent consoles and there specific advantages:

Xbox One - Can play the compatible titles basically the same as they were on the original consoles
Xbox One X - Some XB/360 games are "xbox one x enhanced" increasing their resolution to 4k
Xbox Series S - The Xbox One X enhanced BC titles run at 1440p, some BC titles like Fallout 3 received FPS Boost making them run at 60 instead of 30.
Xbox Series X - The Xbox One X enhanced BC titles run at 4k, some BC titles like Fallout 3 received FPS Boost making them run at 60 instead of 30.

And of course the Series S does not have a disk drive so for your purposes is useless. The Wikipedia article for XBO/Series linked above also states which games are Xbox One X enhanced and have FPS Boost support.

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

Palworld today is 23k behind this time yesterday (1.227m vs 1.251m) in current players, probably no peak today. The dream is over. (Though maybe it can peak this weekend if it doesn't drop too much over the next two days.)

Thank you for the in-depth BC overview! Exactly what I was looking for.
