Please observe a whole symphonic orchestra recording the Vampire Survivors soundtrack

From a pure comedy standpoint, like a kind of farcical slapstick angle, Vampire Survivors really is the gift that keeps on giving. What started as a dude's side project to develop over time and fool around with some game mechanics ideas turned into a huge, huge hit. It didn't have a story. The soundtrack was

Now a professional symphony orchestra recorded fully scored, composed, and conducted soundtrack music for its second DLC, Tides of the Foscari, complete with conductor and soloist credits. You can watch a video of it happening.

All for a $2 game about vampires where the joke is that there are absolutely no vampires present. If you own Vampire Survivors on Steam, well, you own all these tracks too, as they're part of the soundtrack there.

Speaking of buying jRPGs - I own a majority of the jRPGs on Xbox - only ones I dont have are games released in the last 3 years or so - waiting for price drops.

I typically buy them on PC or Playstation first though.

@NobleTeam360 Santa said he apologizes for SF 6 running a day late. Told him, "Lol it's Capcom."

Capcom is GOATED. No need for Santa, just buy it yourself.

Better bunker down Xbots, we got a week of leaks to avoid. But we do get a week of laughing at some of the hype takes like that one site putting a twitter poll of what people are most excited to see and it has Fallout 5 in there ….. lol

@Spade told me to post it here.

Tears of the Kingdom = GOTY.

Now I wait and see if Starfield can top it.

Speaking of Fallout, I should start the series. Question is should I go from beginning with the 2D ones or should I start with the 3D ones first?

I tried to play the first one when it was given away free on GOG several years back, couldn't get into it honestly, felt way too dated. I really think Xbox needs to look into some kind of Fallout 1 and 2 Remake collection, one that keeps the 2D isometric viewpoint but improves the graphics alot and modernizes some of the gameplay design. Honestly Fallout 1-3 and New Vegas all could use full-on remakes imo. Xbox really needs to be looking into more remakes in the future, so many games that need them:

  • Halo 3
  • Gears 2 and 3 (alongside a 4K remaster of the Gears 1 remake in a single Gears Collection)
  • Fable 2 and 3 (alongside a 4K remaster of the Fable 1 remake in a single Fable Collection)
  • Fallout 1 and 2 2D Remakes
  • Fallout 3 and New Vegas Remakes
  • Morrowind
  • Oblivion

Those are the main ones that would hold the most appeal and sell the most copies, therefore the most likely to be profitable for them. But there are a few somewhat lower appeal games I would love to see remakes of as well, like Dishonored 1 and Lost Odyssey. I truly wish Xbox were more like Sony in regards to remakes, Sony has been remaking alot of their games.

You could just play Fallout New Vegas and call it at that. It’s easily the best Fallout, it also has one of the greatest DLCs of all time with Old World Blues.
