It really is a great way to get a taste of what the ps5 can do. |
It was more like get a taste of what the dualsense can do. It was a great game. I got platinum on it. The gimmicks from the controller can be veeeeeeery annoying though lol. Still a really cool tech demo.
Most expensive game I’ve ever bought though. $500

Ninja Theory finally finished motion capture for Hellblade II. Not sure what kind of timeline we’re looking at. Holiday 2023 suddenly seems a little too soon.

Got my Galactic Purple Dual Sense and my stand - so I was able to set them up together with my Lunar Shift Xbox controller, looking great.

The article got my hyped for one of these, but it is a wired controller. I'm gonna have to pass on this one. Hopefully a wireless one will come out later.

So, I've been playing Halo co-op with some friends on the side the last few days, and I gotta say, it's honestly still something of an embarrassment. There's pretty regular freezes/lag spikes. If you wanna replay certain segments of a mission, you can't then simply exit the mission straight back into the overworld without exiting the whole session, or playing the mission through to the end. If you're playing with 2 or 3 people, and another buddy or two wanna join at some random point cus they just got online, everybody has to exit out to the lobby cus it's not drop in/out (which seems particularly weird, cus distance wise you're bound to host, and also there is no apparent difficulty scaling whatsoever). Every time you do back out to the lobby, you'll get like 5 spam messages about how you're unable to connect to host (even if you are the host) for no apparent reason.
I mean, honestly, considering it took them a year...a fucking year...to add co-op back into Halo, this coulda been a whole hell of a lot less messy than it is.

True. It's overall an excellent controller with all the features. I was playing Warzone 2 with it and I will take the Xbox controller any day after play the game on both systems now. The trigger feedback is not ideal in a competitive setting (I know you can turn it off) and I'm just off with aiming compared to using the Series X controller. I gotta get use to it.

Hope we see that at TGA.
