Final chance for 23 and 21. None of these games are obscure.

#23
- You can trust those little simians in the opening level, but after that they’re going to start attacking you.
- You visit five different locations in this game. The first and last are preset - you get to choose which order you visit the middle three in.
- The console version was less forgiving due to a different save system, and being unable to adjust the brightness of the visuals.
- Introduces new moves such as running and crawling.
- The fan base tends to split the console games in this series into three distinct groupings. This is the third of six entries in one of these particular groupings.
- The game says there’s 59 secrets to find, but it’s possible to get 60. A little leeway if you’re trying to unlock the hidden level.
- Introduces additional risks to your health, such as poison (gradually drains your health), and freezing (rapidly drains your health if in cold water too long).
- Globetrotting adventure from the 90s.

Tomb Raider 3? It's been over 20 years since I played it, but some of those hints did sound familiar, just couldn't place them.

TRIII is spot on.

Isn't #14 the original Star Fox?

I don't know 17 either, the first clip sounds like the Forsaken Fortress from Wind Waker but you already had that one earlier, plus I don't recognise the other two.

New hints.

16 - Seem like a fairly big game, especially for its time, but really it only needs to take up to 60 minutes.
Hint 2: The Super Nintendo version though, doubled the limit to 120 minutes. Guessed by drbunnig - Prince of Persia

15 - The news ticker for some reason often talks about broccoli related stuff.
Hint 2: I guess that's all that been going on if your Transport or Environmental or one of the other advisors have nothing to report.
Hint 3: With a cheat code, you can also have your own message in the news ticker. This is useless, but funny all the same.

14 - This game is a treasure trove of cheesy oneliners.
Hint 2: The most famous one has even devolved into a meme. Guessed by UnderwaterFunktown - Lylatwars (Star Fox 64)

13 - The American name of this game quite accurately describes what this ball does. Guessed by drbunnig - Kula World (Roll Away)

I wouldn't have got this if I didn't somehow remember that I'd guessed this before, but I'm thinking Roll Away (aka Kula World)?

I played this a bit earlier this year - good fun and deceptively challenging at times.

Correct!

Didn't think this one would be guessed so quickly, so very good. And yeah it is challenging, I don't think I've ever come close to beating it even when I played it quite a bit on PS1, and even PS3 when they rereleased it as a 'Classic'. It is addicting though.

#43: Super Punch Out!!

Although I hate real world boxing, Nintendo has a way of making boring sports interesting when translating them into video games (for more evidence see soccer vs Mario Strikers). The game sticks to the NES original's gameplay for the most part but does revamp how uppercuts are earned and used. As long as you don't get hit, you get to keep the ability to unleash uppercuts and powerful body blows on your opponent and it's very satisfying.

This is a short game once you know what you're doing but it makes it the perfect game for a casual replay on NSO.

#42: Mega Man X4

Mega Man X4 was the game were you could finally play as Zero and Capcom nailed his gameplay right out the gate. Zero is a close combat specialist which differs greatly with X who mainly uses projectiles. Considering this, it's pretty impressive how the level design manages to provide a fun experience with both of the playable characters. That being said, I heavily preferred playing as Zero and I would say I've cleared the game with him 10 times more often than with X.

Of course when talking about Mega Man X4, you have to mention the so-bad-it's-good voice acting that gave us wonderful moments like "What am I fighting foooooor?" and "Whatd'youthinkyoudoing?" and characters who go from British to Australian depending on the scene.

#41: Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

Okay, I'll admit it, graphically speaking Tenchu did not age well (which is why I think it would be a prime candidate for a remake) but the game is still tons of fun. The AI is just clever enough to catch you when you make dumb mistake but also stupid enough that you can have fun planning how to dispatch the guards that stand in your way. I've spent countless hours grappling on rooftops, watching guards' patrol route, luring them with tasty rice, having them step on caltrops or just plain walked up behind them to violently behead them.

#40: Super Castlevania IV

Look at that amazing box art! It's not the only thing amazing about this game. The soundtrack is superb and the gameplay improves on its NES predecessors with the ability to swing your whip at angles (or round and round). This does makes the game a lot easier but still a tough experience thanks to nasty instakill spike traps and the fact that medusa heads are evil incarnate. Even though it's an early SNES game, I still find the game very appealing today with great sprites and level design that has you travelling through roads, caves, waterfalls, gold filled treasure rooms, clock towers and castles.

An absolutely beautiful and resonant game that I honestly can't say much about. Its a short but sweet couple-hour adventure that fully encapsulates the title. Finding other players along ur route and travelling with them only adds to the experience and shapes a unique one each time. Desperately need to replay this one but as is, this is a fantastic little adventure.
