#42: Mega Man X4
Mega Man X4 was the game were you could finally play as Zero and Capcom nailed his gameplay right out the gate. Zero is a close combat specialist which differs greatly with X who mainly uses projectiles. Considering this, it's pretty impressive how the level design manages to provide a fun experience with both of the playable characters. That being said, I heavily preferred playing as Zero and I would say I've cleared the game with him 10 times more often than with X.
Of course when talking about Mega Man X4, you have to mention the so-bad-it's-good voice acting that gave us wonderful moments like "What am I fighting foooooor?" and "Whatd'youthinkyoudoing?" and characters who go from British to Australian depending on the scene.
