"Nintendo deserve to win this generation"

I agree with that....that humble pie has been passed from Nintendo,N64 era,to Sony....I wonder who will be eating the next slice a few years from now...Nintendo again?

MS will never win. They are hated in too many places outside of NA. I want sega back, they still made the best console ever, the dreamcast.

 They never had 100% of the market, like it or not you have to count the game gear, N-gage, etc, even though its a small % its still not 100% for Nintendo, even so they lost nothing to PSP cause % of sales =/= their business, in fact its only grown.  

You have no backing to say they couldn't do a system update to use external HD (which is MUCH cheaper then 360/PS3 HD) or at the very least update to read off of the SD card.  Even then it is selling better then PS2 did and the PS2 had a year's head start, you really need to look up the information you're saying before you say it because it's all flat out wrong no matter how you look at it.  Being a Sony fan doesn't mean you can use your own made up facts.

Really..remember E3 2005,when the PS3 was unveiled?....Everyone´s jaw dropped when we were treated to videos of DMC4,Tekken 6,MGS4,etc...practically everyone thought the PS3 would continue its older brothers´ dominance...but at E3 2006,when Kaz Hirai uttered the words "599 U.S Dollars",that´s when I knew there was no way the PS3 could keep,let alone surpass,the PS2´s market share...to make matters worse,it was the same E3 where people would find out there would no longer be rumble...something I personally don´t give a rats ass,but many cried out in anger.

casuals, casuals , casuals...

The moment i saw the Wii controler i thought wtf are they doing?!?! but then five minutes later after i had read about how it works i knew it would be a winner, i knew it would be big but not this big.

 Thats less than four words =P just tack on another "casuals" and you're good.  And on your point, every dominating console has/had to win the casual gamer to be on top.

I see some posts (negative mainly) about the Wii bringing in casual gamers.

I consider myself more of a hard core gamer but have no problem with all the Wii casual games (though feel no need to buy them) especially when games like Okami, Bully, etc... along with the classic Nintendo franchises come along as well. And I will admit there is some fun to be had on some of these "stupid" casual games (won't give any names though, too embarrassed).

Well it was difficult seeing the DS phenomenon coming because it was rushed but from GDC 2005 on Nintendo held different speech that describe the "revolution" they want to adopt.

So no surprise, my surprise was understand how smart Nintendo has became after the GC ( conceptual ) failure.
