These dithering effects look like Sega Saturn
Completed, best in the series by a miles a refresh in the series combat, varied weapon selection that only DMC3 matches and enemy designs that for most part are fun to battle. Switch does start to show its age with this game as the dynamic resolution and frame rate dips due to the scale and ambition of the game but all in all a good conclusion to the trilogy and sets up the path for the series' future.

That's actually an incredibly common effect in many Switch games.

I haven't seen it so striking before. Must be limited bandwidth.
I beat it yesterday.
I never noticed the framerate drops. Not once. I guess I'm not as sensitive to that, but I have noticed framerate problems in other games. The bad environmental textures, on the other hand, I noticed a lot and they really distracted me during certain important cutscenes. I think the previous game looks significantly better as a result,
In terms of the game itself, I rank it in the middle of the Bayonetta games. I find it to be better than Bayonetta 1 but far behind Bayonetta 2, which was practically a perfect action game. It's not as polished as it should be, and the set-pieces just don't measure up to Bayonetta 2's set-pieces. Still a ton of fun, but it could have been better.
