Forums - Gaming - If you could bring one game with you?.

Probably Cities: Skylines, since it has quite a bit of depth to it, as well as a creative element, which helps me not get bored with it. Another strong contender is Minecraft, although it trades depth for a stronger creative element. I can't imagine taking with me a game that could end, realistically speaking, and games where all the content is created by someone else can end. Skyrim? Yeah, great fun for a long while, but once you've explored it all, there isn't much more to see.

Logically one would pick their favourite game, because that's the one you like the most. Why would you settle for anything less? For me that would be Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

There is a caveat though, if it's a game with a definitive start and end, like any story-based game, will it stay your favourite thing if it's the only thing you'll play over and over for the rest of eternity. Then, I'd say, maybe the best thing be to pick an endless game, or a sandbox. For me the best things in that area are city-building (or just 'building' games, doesn't necessarily have to be a "city") games, and my favourite of all there is RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

I'd probably pick RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

I concur.  Any game that you could play over and over and over, would convert from your heaven to your hell. A game like Minecraft offers infinity.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

I would be hard-pressed to choose between Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program, given that I could pretty much play both indefinitely.

But honestly, If there would be other people around, my hefty bag of RPG dice is all I would take with me.

World of Warcraft, because an island would actually suit the life style. Plus its cheating.
