Now that supply is increasing and the YOY deficit shrinking, it'll be interesting to see if PS5's 2022 ends up passing it's 2021 once all's said and done.

You would think so, they only shipped 3.9 million in FYQ3 2021. Sony need to at least double that number this holiday to have any hope of reaching their 18m target. It not only has to beat 2021 but absolutely destroy it. Of course they have zero chance of hitting 18m for the calendar year thanks to the poor start (4.4m from Jan to June) but an outside chance for the fiscal year if they follow up a big holiday with a massive FYQ4 (Jan to March).

Yeah supply definitely seems to be improving, so unless there's another bottleneck, I expect both the calendar and fiscal year to top the last.
