Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Star-Field's comparison are silly

Tagged games:

NMS comparison doesn't make sense because as far as we know, Godd Howard hasn't been blatantly lying about Starfield's features and the game was delayed rather than launching incomplete. Kudos to HG for how they turned NMS around, but it's still not really an apt comparison, outside of being in space. NMS is like a survival exploration game. Starfield is an RPG with an actual narrative. Fallout in space, except instead of walking across a map to find a new city and resources, you fly to a new planet.

Its a Bethseda RPG in Space - not rocket science.

It's just NMS without the survival elements. Which is perfectly fine with me.

An excellent analysis and breakdown of the differences in procedural generation between games.  A must watch for individuals not being able to distinguish the difference between NMS, Starfield and Star Citizen.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Saw a YouTuber refer to it as this today. Apparently they weren't the first. Such a simple yet clever meme. Fits so well it's almost as if it were destined to occur.

No. And those YouTubers know nothing about Star Field.
