Forums - Nintendo - Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet | Second Trailer | Launches November 18th

Honestly I'm really impressed. Graphics finally look on par with what we'd expect of a game of this generation, and the ambitions with the open world/co-op are again what people have been wanting this whole time. Add to it the fact that the Legendaries are the best designs we've seen for a few generations and I'm really excited for this. I almost question why they bothered with Legends if this was on the horizon. Are they just trying to find ways to make the 20m+ selling pokemon games an annual thing?

Characters and mons look cool, graphics are still garbage.

But you can't really go wrong with Gigachad professor and marijuana kitty.

Lechonk for Roast "Porkemon!"

Looks better than PLA.

I have to admit I like the new pokemon shown here. Lechonk and Smoliv are clever uses of the spanish setting.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Yeah, I agree.  Every release is looking better and better.  They are getting better at 3D.

“Consoles are great… if you like paying extra for features PCs had in 2005.”

Graphics are meh, but looks cuter than the last two games at least

Depending on how they implement the co-op I might get one. If it's limited and the game plays better as single player I'll just skip this one too

Co-op is a weird thing to focus on. How is the story going to account for multiplayer?

Some people say that gamefreak/the Pokémon company are lazy when it comes to the graphics

I like to think it's because they don't have too much experience with HD development on a large scale yet. However they are getting better and I am curious to see where they go from here

So is this actual full open world or not?

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also
