What games definitely sold more within the last 12 months? We know that Elden Ring did 13.4 million at the end of March, and probably over 15 million by May. It's performing stupidly well in every region and every system.

Pokemon BD/SP has sold 14.6 million as of March

I don't think this guarantees it being ahead of ER as of April though. Do we have any official numbers for Vanguard and FIFA 22 at any point?

ER is just bulldozing everything and may well double Vanguard's lifetime sales.

This is good news for single player games tbh.

I hope it gets ubisoft and others to assess their homogenised open world formula too.

Once more proving, once and for all and without a shadow of a doubt, that single-player gaming is dead. Wait, what?

Elden Ring can be multi-player.  I play it with my bother regularly.

I know, I've finished myself three times. But it's not really built for it from the ground. Which is why they added the Spirit Ashes. Unless you have someone you know and can play properly with from the beginning, the multiplayer doesn't really work.

Great sales but needs some clarification.
Best selling game the past 12 months, from what NPD tracks. However, a few companies don't report digital sales to NPD such as Nintendo and Take Two.
Curious if it managed to outsell GTA5 past 12 months when factoring in digital.

Either way, huge accomplishment, just thought it needs some clarifications.
