It usually takes months to approve accounts. Reason being they search the net for your username, email, etc. to see how you've behaved on other forums, etc. You cannot sign up with a free email account (AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, etc).

Do they really do that? Grr... I've been waiting for a couple months and finally got tired of waiting and just signed up on vgchartz. I wonder if I'll get approved now that I've joined here.

Btw, I prefer to use NPD and official sources as much as possible, simply because that's what other professional analysts use.

Personally, I think Neogaf is great, especially their Off Topic forum. :D
