It would be weird if it didn't outsell, the series S has always been available here in Europe since day 1, the series X has been on amazon UK in stock for over a week now without running out of stock. 

On the other hand I haven't seen a PS5 for sale anywhere. Good thing I got mine when I could last year.

If I wanted a series X I would order right now, and I get 20% discount as I dont pay VAT in the channel islands, so it costs me £375 brand new, but I have a powerful PC so.

PS5 still only says "coming soon" here (Best buy Canada). Never seen it in stock.

Series X is sold out, has a new offer, CAD 40 a month for 2 years with game pass ultimate, CAD 960 total, CAD 15.00 a month for game pass.
Series S is in stop, also has an offer, CAD 30 a month for 2 years with game pass ultimate, CAD 720 total, CAD 14.17 a month for game pass.

Series X is in stock on Amazon.ca (regular price) PS5 add to wish list only.

These stock shortages are depressing.

In the US, Amazon only has XBox Series X listings from scalpers unfortunately.

Seems like Series X has got a massive shipment recenrly though. It didn't last all that long but certainly longer than usual.

Stock shortages still looking to be the norm for quite a while overall.

Can't find a Series X in stock anywhere here in Australia; checked EB Games, JB Hifi, Amazon, Target, none have it available.

What a weird generation this is. The one who produces the most consoles wins. It makes demand almost irrelevant in a way.

I bought my PS5 second hand almost a year ago for 600 dollars, I haven't regret it one bit. It was well worth the price, with that said I had the chance to get a series X several times for 450 dollars (its real price) and didn't want one as I have a PC

For the moment, yeah.


Demand for the ps5 will still be higher than the X/S though and some simply won't buy the other console. Individuals who have spent time on accounts earning trohpies, gaining friends and most importantly buying a tonne of digital software (usually in the hundreds of dollars, if not thousands) are more or less locked in. 

I suppose that doesn't stop them from having both though.

I've had a chance to overpay for a PS5 several times and didn't want one. 

I also have a PC.
