Kadyrov promoted and now they kidnapp all children out of Kherson.

Kadyrow is a very, very loose cannon. Putin has to keep him "a friend" with whatever means he has, in this case an upkick in the ranks. The best thing to do for the US would be to organise unrest in Chechnya, Kadyrow and his cronies would instantly run back home. Won't happen, though.

Eh, he's probably more like Putin's most trusted puppet, not a loose cannon. Kadyrov is nothing without Putin's support and I bet Russian elite and FSB would love to replace him.

Kadyrov is desperate for Putin's war to succeed and Putin to stay in power.

It's pretty much that simple. Russia just has to leave and at least the war would be pretty much over. But all I read the damn whole day on different sites is how Ukraine has to do something as well to end it.

It's not going to happen though. How often do bullies just walk away after being humiliated? They don't unless they're physically forced to.

Ukraine just need to hold on and re-claim as much as their territory as possible (ideally all of it) while waiting for putins death. His days are numbered, and as soon as they're over this whole thing can end.

So, the Crimean Bridge is feeling a bit unwell due to a car bomb blowing up railway cars containing fuel. Supposedly the bridge has collapsed partially.

EDIT: Looks like the whole bridge is out of commission for now.

I'm surprised the left lane collapsed while the right lane is still standing even though the explosion happened closer to the right lane.

Though, it might collapse a little later. Definitely not safe to cross even when there were already some pedestrians walking on it to film the damage.

What good news to wake up too, I had written off Crimean Bridge since Ukraine said they don't have any missiles capable of destroying it.

And a day after Putin's birthday!
