Thats St Basil’s Cathedral, not the Kremlin. It’s right next to the Kremlin, sure but they are different buildings.

The overall architectural style of the Kremlin complex is very similar, including the Grand Kremlin Palace where Putin officially resides, and the bell tower of Ivan the Great. And for better or worse, it’s the most familiar part of the Kremlin/Red Square complex.

It's also what comes up first when you google Kremlin and select images.

But yes, it's St Basil's Cathedral, the most iconic part of the Red Square.

Anyway the onion dome is iconic for Russia, a distinct part of Russian Orthodox church architecture. I found it kinda funny Survivor took the Onion Dome as theme for the current season. It's part of the tribe banners as well. Normally it's just a Roman style flag banner. Survivor switching empires ;)

Current vs last season (and those before)

Reality TV really rottted people’s brains. Remember, both Survivor and The Apprentice, which dragged Trump out of the irrelevance he was sliding into from the late 90s to the late 2000s, were both created by Mark Burnett,

What older generations claimed video games and comic books would do to the minds of the young, Mark Burnett and Fox News did to the minds of older generations.

One other thing is that the Russian Orthodox Church is pretty much an instrument of the Putin regime at this point. Patriarch Kirill regularly supports both Putin and the invasion of Ukraine. Just like how the Southern Baptist Church, other evangelical churches, and even many American cardinals and bishops are basically propaganda machines for Trump.

A defence and security pact being drawn up between the U.K. and the EU will fall apart if Keir Starmer doesn't make concessions on fishing rights, according to a senior European politician. While behind the scenes officials have let it be known that France in particular is determined to secure more advantageous fishing rights in return for a reset in the U.K.-EU relationship, it is rare for such a senior figure in a European government to publicly make the link between the defense pact and fish.

UK-EU Defense Pact Really Does Depend On Fish, European Minister Warns – POLITICO

This is absolutely ridiculous, the UK has been one of Ukraine's strongest supporters, we're a vital part to European security with multiple military companies cooperating with the rest of Europe and we've always helped militarily. This is horseshit, to put a military pact at risk over some irrelevant fishing rights is so stupid it's unbelievable.

This sort of shit will turn Brits against Europe. What does fishing rights have to do with a bloody military pact? Once again, Western Europe are showing just how unserious they are about this whole situation, I feel sorry for Ukraine, stuck between two of the shittiest allies they could ask for, one led by a Russian sympathiser who wants to pillage Ukraine of its resources and the other led by cowards and useless fuckers.

UK.

  • Vital part in WW1 and WW2.
  • Among the first to train Ukraine soldiers both domestically and abroad.
  • First to send Modern MBTs, Long-Range Missiles and give cover to others to do so.
  • Provides Ukraine with vital intelligence as part of the Five Eyes.
  • Provides Europe with a nuclear deterrent as France's nuclear deterrent as per their own constitution can only be used to defend France.
  • Has troops in Germany, Estonia, Poland, Cyprus.
  • Has defence cooperation and business contracts with multiple European countries, of note, Storm Shadow (UK, France), SPEAR 5 (UK, France, Italy), Eurofighter Typhoon (UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain), etc.
  • Leads a military partnership between ourselves, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden to defend the Northern Sea titled "JEF" which is independent of NATO.
  • Has special forces operating in Ukraine.

And France is concerned about fishing rights and willing to scuttle a defence pact because of it, Lol.

If you want to turn Brits against the rest of Europe again and back into America's arms, this is a sure fire way to do it. Hope there are some European countries who actually take the Russian threat seriously, willing to stick up for UK and tell France to STFU. Probably Northern Europe and Eastern Europe will not be happy with France here, as they tend to see UK as a good military partner.

France is being incredibly short-sighted and overstepping.

Sanction on Russia.....

I'm thinking that Trump will continue with the sanctions despite being sympathetic and possibly an agent of Russia and here is why. Trump made a big part of his campaign on the "drill baby drill" thing because he wants oil production to be as high as possible. If the the united states helps the world become russia's market again, then oil prices will become low. However, there will be no point in the united states producing more oil if prices are low. Therefore, it would help this by keeping the sanctions on Russia.

Trump isn't a dummy, he's a somewhat astute politician and he knows that it wouldn't fulfill his objectives. So, the sanctions will stay imho

I agree with you.  Despite what people say about Trump he still was president and has a "brain" of what to do.

Trumps "Art of the Deal" really seems to be "I'll give in, everything you want, I'll do it, daddy Putin"

Is that their vision of "bailing out Europe again", like they said in the tweets? Screwing them royally over and believing they did absolutely nothing wrong?
