Merz will be a far-left commie once Trump sees these comments!
I hope he isn't all talk, as shit as the Tories were, they were strong supporters of Ukraine so I hope the same case with CDU. Independence from the USA is a no brainer, America not caring about Europe is factual. Even his comments on if NATO will exist by June, I like that talk, I hope it will put the boot up some asses that Europe needs to focus on Europe.
And anyone in Merz position should be furious about Musk trying to interfere in elections and rob a victory from them, with the spread of lies and propaganda, bullshit manipulative algorithms to push AfD Nazis and that outrage should also be applied to America since Musk is their lapdog. Any true Conservative should be pissed off about that.

Here is a true leader and someone who cares deeply for his country. This is basically a fireback at Trump though, a dictator wouldn't step down voluntarily, all to ensure the safety of his country, it's a counter to Trump's recent dictator bollocks. I actually believe that Zelenskyy would step down/retire after the war is finished either way, the man must be fucking shattered emotionally and physically, once the war is over I reckon he will retire almost immediately, spend time with his family, live out the rest of his life as peaceful as he can but he will need 24/7 protection for the rest of his life from Russian assassins unfortunately.
Plus a war-time leader isn't necessarily a good peace-time leader, it may for the best that he let someone else take over and handle the reconstruction efforts. He might not want to go down as Churchill did and go out on his own terms, Lol. Churchill was a brilliant war-time leader and popular but then lost an election almost immediately after the war, Lmao. Churchill was still very popular but Conservative Party policies were unpopular for after the war, and people thinking Churchill wouldn't be a good peace-time leader.

Merkel was a female at the top, for one, and he didn’t like that she couldn’t be intimidated by him. For another, I’m sure he wants Merz to align with AfD.
That’s actually a recurring theme with Trump. Women are more likely to stand up to that asshole than men. And when they do, he calls them “nasty” and other gendered insults.

Remembers? I'd be legitimately somewhat surprised if he even knew.

EU High Representative Kaja Kallas on Trump calling Zelensky a "dictator":
"I thought he was confusing two people. Putin hasn’t had real elections in 25 years. Zelensky was elected in free and fair elections. And during war, many constitutions prevent elections."
