Here is a true leader and someone who cares deeply for his country. This is basically a fireback at Trump though, a dictator wouldn't step down voluntarily, all to ensure the safety of his country, it's a counter to Trump's recent dictator bollocks. I actually believe that Zelenskyy would step down/retire after the war is finished either way, the man must be fucking shattered emotionally and physically, once the war is over I reckon he will retire almost immediately, spend time with his family, live out the rest of his life as peaceful as he can but he will need 24/7 protection for the rest of his life from Russian assassins unfortunately.
Plus a war-time leader isn't necessarily a good peace-time leader, it may for the best that he let someone else take over and handle the reconstruction efforts. He might not want to go down as Churchill did and go out on his own terms, Lol. Churchill was a brilliant war-time leader and popular but then lost an election almost immediately after the war, Lmao. Churchill was still very popular but Conservative Party policies were unpopular for after the war, and people thinking Churchill wouldn't be a good peace-time leader.
