Forums - Movies & TV - ‘Blade Runner 2099’ Live-Action Sequel Series From Ridley Scott, Silka Luisa & Alcon In Works At Amazon Studios

It'll live or die by the talent involved but my fingers are crossed it turns out well. Blade Runner is one of my favorite properties and I'm always looking out for the next good cyberpunk yarn (which reminds me I still need to watch Black Lotus).

both Blade Runner are perfect. I just would like to see Denis Villeneuve directing it again as he did in 2049.

I love cyberpunk and Blade Runner. I don;t Trust Ridley Scott. Those last alien films were garbage. Get Denis Villeneuve back.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I love both films, they are fantastic. Lets hope this series turns out well cause I'd hate to see the franchise lose its edge.

Of all the cult classics that bombed and whose sequels underperformed at the box office, why can't the one I care about get a new movie?

FLYNN LIVES!!!!

You do know a third film is in development, right?

A third film has been allegedly in development for a stupid amount of time. I'll believe it when a trailer drops.

It's hard to judge from a trailer of Shining Girls, but unfortunately Luisa has very little experience.

As a fan, I will probably skip this one as I'm skipping Rings of Power and many other terrible recent adaptations.

so, as a fan, I bet you'll get a sneak peek at "Rings of Power" '-

I probably won't watch. No doubt it's going behind Amazon Prime paywall, and since I'm still waiting for S5 of The Expanse to release on Blu-ray.... Besides that, S4 and S5 were already down to 10 episodes, S6 only 6? wtf. Screw this streaming age. Sci-fi is dead.

But I am interested in another movie.

I'll have an eye on this one. Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 are two of my favourite films.
