Don't worry. You have Matt Cassel now. He'll get you to the Super Bowl.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!

Funny how that one injury opened the entire AFC up to be reevaluated. I see Chargers going all the way at this point.

A team that depends only on 1 player isn't a good team.
They'll still do good,but they won't win the superbowl....maybe.

Every team depends on their QB to a certain extent. When the QB gets injured suddenly, it's hard to build your team up to gel correctly with the replacement. This is why it's such a blow to the Pats and why it's shaking up the AFC. Had Brady got injured in the offseason, the Pats would have been better prepared to gather a replacement or have Cassel ready for the season and geling with the team. They're lucky it wasn't a dominant team they were facing on week one or I'm sure the outcome of that game would have been different. Let's see how the Jets do next week against them. If Favre and co. get the win, we'll know for sure that this isn't the same AFC any longer. The three most important games to see next week, in my mind are:

Bears vs. Panthers-Two teams with week one upsets. This will help show who's may have been a fluke and who's is the real deal. I expect a Chicago victory.

New England vs. New York Jets-This will show who has the balance of power in the AFC East with Brady gone and it'll prove whether Favre is really mixing with his team well enough to make a playoff run. I see the Jets coming out on top.

Philadelphia vs. Dallas-Possibly the two most powerful lineups in the entire NFL right now and this will prove who's got the better team, McNabb or Romo. As much as my teeth are grinding as I say this, Dallas gets the victory.

Man the Raiders got man handled like the new guy dropping the soap in prison . It wasn't even a close game , was embarrassing to watch. I can't believed I pick them to win today too :( boy was I wrong .

raiders 14 - broncos 41 (maybe they are good after all or the raiders suck that bad you decide !)

The Raiders just suck. I will not be predicting them to win all season most likely. That may have been the worst rape all week, which is saying something in light of the rapings the Colts and Rams got also.

I expect and hope for Carolina to whip the Bears ass !

Expect the Jets to win at home going to be a close game ...Jets by a Field Goal!

Philly proved that they can beat the Cowboys at the end of last season....so I pick them to do it again . Eagles by a TD.

Here is the latest news on key injuries for Week 2 of the 2008 NFL season.

Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals should have one of their two injured nose tackles back for the game against Miami. Alan Branch, who missed the opener with an ankle injury, is probable and is expected to back up Bryan Robinson. Nose tackle Gabe Watson is listed as questionable but will probably miss his second consecutive game. Tight end Jerame Tuman will miss the game with a hamstring injury.

Atlanta Falcons

Kicker Jason Elam is questionable with a sore hip, but he will play against the Bucs. Backup center Alex Stepanovich is questionable with a back injury and will probably miss his second consecutive game. Linebacker Coy Wire is probable with an ankle injury and will play.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens, who will now play on Monday against the Texans, added three players to the injury report Friday. Wide receiver Demetrius Williams (hamstring) is questionable. Cornerback Derrick Martin is doubtful. Fullback Lorenzo Neal missed Friday with an illness. Defensive tackle Kelly Gregg (knee) is doubtful. Wide receiver Yamon Figurs is questionable with a hamstring. Quarterback Troy Smith (illness) and cornerback Fabian Washington (neck) are out. Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo (fibula) is questionable with a fibula injury but he should play. Tackle Jared Gaither (ankle), defensive end Trevor Pryce (back) and safety Ed Reed (neck) are probable and will play.

Buffalo Bills

There were very little changes to the Bills' injury report in the past week. Tight end Derek Fine remains out following thumb surgery. Tight end Matt Murphy is doubtful with a shoulder injury and isn't expected to be active. DT John McCargo (back), linebacker John DiGiorgio (back) and wide receiver Roscoe Parrish (toe) practiced the past two days and are probable. Dick Jauron said McCargo suffered some tightness in his back but he was fine on the field Friday.

Carolina Panthers

Guard Travelle Wharton (knee) is listed as doubtful and probably won't play because of a knee injury. Wide receiver Ryne Robinson is also doubtful with a knee injury. Geoff Hangartner is expected to replace Wharton at left guard, but he missed practice Friday because he was sick. Still, Hangartner should start. Quarterback Matt Moore is out with a broken leg. Cornerback Chris Gamble (upper arm), tight end Dante Rosario (foot) and linebacker Na'il Diggs (shoulder) were limited in Friday's practice and are listed as questionable. Based on their participation, though, all three should play.

Chicago Bears

Except for left tackle Chris Williams, who is out with a back injury, the Bears are in good shape. They added running back Matt Forte as probable because he missed some of Friday's practice with a sore ankle. Linebacker Tommie Harris (ankle), linebacker Lance Briggs (ankle) and wide receiver Devin Hester (foot) were also probable but expected to play.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals may only have three corners and four safeties available for Sunday's game against the Titans. Safety Dexter Jackson is out with a thumb injury. Safety Herana-Daze Jones is doubtful with a hamstring injury. Cornerback David Jones is questionable with a hamstring and may not be able to play. There are three players listed as questionable who should play ... wide receiver Andre Caldwell (toe), defensive end Frostee Rucker (foot) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (toe). Cornerback Johnathan Joseph (hamstring), safety Chinedum Ndukwe (knee), linebacker Brandon Johnson (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jason Shirley (heel) are probable and will play.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns have a lengthy injury list heading into Sunday night's game against the Steelers. Wide receiver Donte' Stallworth (quad) and tight end Martin Rucker (knee) didn't practice Friday and are doubtful. Wide receiver Josh Cribbs (ankle), guard Rex Hadnot (knee), safety Brodney Pool (concussion) and guard Ryan Tucker (hip) were limited Friday and there is a good chance most of them won't play. Safety Sean Jones had knee surgery this week and is out. Linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (groin) practiced Friday and is probable. Linebacker Kris Griffin is probable with an elbow injury and will be available.

Dallas Cowboys

Cornerback Terence Newman (groin) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (knee) remain questionable for Monday's game against the Eagles. Both were limited in practices all week. Wide receiver Miles Austin is also questionable with his knee injury. Wide receiver Sam Hurd (knee) and guard Kyle Kosier (foot) are out.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos will be down three players for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Center Tom Nalen was limited in Friday's practice but he isn't expected to play because of a knee injury. Linebacker Louis Green is expected to miss the game with a hamstring injury. Boss Bailey is expected to play despite a high ankle injury suffered early in the preseason. Running back Ryan Torain remains out with his elbow injury.

Detroit Lions

Linebackers Paris Lenon (knee) and Ernie Sims (ankle) will be able to play despite injuries. Quarterback Drew Stanton (right thumb) is going to be the third quarterback. Defensive end Corey Smith was added to the injury report Friday after he missed practice with a knee injury. He's listed as questionable.

Green Bay Packers

Halfback Ryan Grant is listed as questionable even though he did everything in practice Friday. He has a hamstring injury and the team wants to be cautious to make sure he doesn't get hurt worse. Center Scott Wells (back) and guard Josh Sitton (back) are out. Cornerback Charles Woodson is questionable with a broken toe, but coach Mike McCarthy will wait until game time to decide if he can play. Safety Aaron Rouse is questionable with an ankle injury and didn't practice Friday. Halfback Brandon Jackson appears to have recovered from his concussion. He had a full practice and is probable. Safety Atari Bigby (biceps) and inebacker Brandon Chillar (back) are probable. Wide receiver Ruvell Martin (finger) and defensive back Charlie Peprah (hamstring) are questionable but may be available.

Houston Texans

The Texans held two practices Thursday in order for players to have Friday off as the city prepared for Hurricane Ike. The plan is for the game to be played Monday night. Gary Kubiak will hold a Saturday night practice. Halfback Ahman Green is going to be listed as doubtful after missing all week because of his foot injury. Chris Taylor and rookie Steve Slaton will handle the carries with Slaton getting the expected start. Darius Walker was signed off the practice squad to help out and he may get a few carries. Tight end Mark Bruener is also doubtful because of a hamstring injury suffered this week in practice. Defensive tackle Travis Johnson is questionable with a knee injury, but the extra day of rest could give him a better chance of playing. Wide receiver Jacoby Jones is questionable with a back injury. Cornerback Antwaun Molden (hamstring), guard Chester Pitts (ankle), tackle Ephraim Salaam (knee) and left tackle Eric Winston (ankle) are probable and will be able to play.

Indianapolis Colts

Center Jeff Saturday practiced for the third consecutive day, giving him a chance to make an incredible recovery from what was considered a six-week knee injury. Saturday will test the knee in the pregame and see if he can play. Tight end Dallas Clark, despite a knee injury, also has an outside chance of playing. Clark and Saturday are officially listed as questionable. Tony Dungy said cornerback Kelvin Hayden has a chance to play despite a hamstring injury. He's listed as questionable. Guard Mike Pollak is out with a knee injury. Tight end Jacob Tamme (ankle), wide receiver Roy Hall (ankle) and defensive tackle Daniel Muir (knee) are out.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jack Del Rio ruled out center Brad Meester (biceps) and wide receiver Troy Williamson (thigh) because of injuries. Wide receiver Jerry Porter is listed as questionable because of his hamstring, but he should make his Jaguars debut. Cornerback Scott Starks is questionable with a pectoral injury, and his absence would hurt the Jaguars special teams.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs will be down two players for the Raiders game. Quarterback Brodie Croyle (shoulder) and linebacker Napoleon Harris (knee) were ruled out earlier in the week because of their injuries.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins' injury report is clean. Everyone is healthy.

Minnesota Vikings

Left tackle Artis Hicks (elbow) and running back Maurice Hicks (foot) are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. Maurice Hicks probably won't play, making him miss his second consecutive game. Artis Hicks is a question mark. He fills in for Bryant McKinnie at left tackle, and he missed most of the team drills this week. Safety Madieu Williams is out with a neck injury.

New England Patriots

Wide receiver Sam Aiken (knee) and tight end Benjamin Watson (knee) continue to miss practices and are expected to miss their second consecutive games. Linebacker Eric Alexander missed the early portion of Friday's practice and could also be out for the game because of a calf injury. Rookie cornerback Jonathan Wilhite is also a question mark. Wide receivers Randy Moss (back) and Jabar Gaffney knee) missed some practice time this week but will play. Cornerbacks Ellis Hobbs (shoulder) and cornerback Lewis Sanders (head) are banged up but they will play.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints had the wildest injury report of the day. They scratched wide receiver Marques Colston (thumb), defensive tackle Antwan Lake (groin), linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), safety Roman Harper (hamstring), cornerback Randall Gay (illness) and running back Aaron Stecker (hamstring). Linebacker Mark Simoneau went on injured reserve because of his bad back. Josh Savage, a defensive lineman, was signed to take his place on the roster. Defensive tackle Alvin McKinley is probable with a foot injury.

New York Giants

Defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka practiced Friday and is probable for Sunday's game against the Rams. He suffered an ankle injury in the opener against the Redskins. Cornerback R.W. McQuarters is questionable with a calf injury and didn't practice. If he is inactive, Sam Madison would fill in. Madison was inactive last Sunday. Cornerback Terrell Thomas (hamstring) and kicker Lawrence Tynes (knee) are expected to miss the game. Defense end Jerome McDougle was added to the injury report Friday with a knee injury but he is probable.

New York Jets

The Jets won't have two players for their game against the Patriots ... kicker Mike Nugent (thigh) and wide receiver David Clowney (shoulder). It will be a game-time decision for cornerback Justin Miller, who missed the opener with a foot injury. Cornerback David Barrett (shoulder), wide receiver Laveranues Coles (thigh) and defensive end Shaun Ellis (hand) should be able to play.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders may have to start Mario Henderson over Kwame Harris at left tackle after Harris missed Friday's practice with a left knee injury. The Raiders list Harris as doubtful. Defensive end Derrick Burgess (shoulder), cornerback Tyvon Branch (shoulder) and cornerback DeAngelo Hall (elbow) should be able to play despite their injuries. All three are listed as doubtful. Wide receiver Javon Walker, who missed the opener because of a hamstring injury, is off the injury report. The question for him is whether he or Ashley Lelie will start.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles scratched defensive end Victor Abiamiri (wrist) and wide receiver Kevin Curtis (hernia). Wide receiver Reggie Brown will be a game-time decision. He's questionable with a hamstring. Safety Sean Considine (hand) and defensive tackle Dan Klecko (hand) are probable.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Cornerback Deshea Townsend is doubtful with a foot injury and didn't practice Friday. He is expected to be replaced by Bryant McFadden. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is probable and had a full practice Friday. He will start against the Browns, but he may be limited in making all of his throws.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers will be without left tackle Marcus McNeill (neck) and center Nick Hardwick (foot), but they will have LaDainian Tomlinson at halfback. Tomlinson missed two days of practice but had a full workout Friday. The team lists him as questionable with a toe injury but they expect him to play. The Chargers have an outside chance of having Antonio Cromartie at cornerback. He had his most extensive workout of the week Friday. The team lists him as questionable with a toe injury. If Cromartie can't go, rookie Antoine Cason would get the start.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers may not have cornerback Donald Strickland, who's questionable with a knee injury. Center Eric Heitmann practiced and is probable with a shoulder injury.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are expected to have four players out for Sunday's game against the 49ers ... wide receivers Bobby Engram (collarbone) and Deion Branch (knee), halfback Maurice Morris (knee) and right tackle Sean Locklear (knee). Cornerback Marcus Trufant (hand) and linebacker Lofa Tatupu (knee) will play despite minor injuries.

St. Louis Rams

The Rams could be down three key starters for the Giants game. Wide receiver Drew Bennett (foot) is out. Defensive end Leonard Little is doubtful and not expected to play because of a hamstring injury. Guard Jacob Bell is questionable with a hamstring and there is a good chance he won't play. Adam Goldberg will probably get the start. Punter Donnie Jones (knee), wide receiver Donnie Avery (knee) and halfback Travis Minor (thigh) are probable and should play. Defensive end James Hall was added to the injury report Friday because of a groin injury, but he will play and probably start for Little.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Linebacker Derrick Brooks hasn't practiced all week and faces his biggest challenge since 1994 in trying to continue his consecutive game streak. Brooks has a hamstring injury and is questionable. He has played 193 consecutive games. Jon Gruden is going to wait until game time to see if he can go. Wide receiver Maurice Stovall is also questionable with a back injury. He may not play, which would put Michael Clayton back on the active roster. Clayton was inactive last week. Guard Davin Joseph remains out with a broken bone in his foot. Running back Warrick Dunn (illness) is fine. Jeff Garcia will be replaced by Brian Griese as the starter, but there is still a chance Garcia (ankle) might be the backup. That will be known Sunday.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans list defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth as questionable with a concussion, but he says he will play. Haynesworth missed every practice this week, but the team will wait until Sunday morning to make a decision. Defensive end Jacob Ford (chest) and running back Quinton Ganther (hamstring) are also questionable after missing all of this week's practices. Linebacker David Thornton is probable with a shoulder injury. He will play. Quarterback Vince Young is out with a knee injury.

Washington Redskins

The Redskins could be down to as few as four linebackers because of injuries to Marcus Washington and backup Khary Campbell. Jim Zorn will have to make a game time decision on Washington, who has a hamstring injury and is going to be questionable. Campbell is doubtful with a thigh problem. Safety Kareem Moore may be available despite a hamstring. Tight end Chris Cooley (quad) and cornerback Fred Smoot (hip) are fine and will play. Cornerback Shawn Springs will make his 2008 debut despite missing the opener with a calf injury.
