A team that depends only on 1 player isn't a good team.
They'll still do good,but they won't win the superbowl....maybe.

Every team depends on their QB to a certain extent. When the QB gets injured suddenly, it's hard to build your team up to gel correctly with the replacement. This is why it's such a blow to the Pats and why it's shaking up the AFC. Had Brady got injured in the offseason, the Pats would have been better prepared to gather a replacement or have Cassel ready for the season and geling with the team. They're lucky it wasn't a dominant team they were facing on week one or I'm sure the outcome of that game would have been different. Let's see how the Jets do next week against them. If Favre and co. get the win, we'll know for sure that this isn't the same AFC any longer. The three most important games to see next week, in my mind are:

Bears vs. Panthers-Two teams with week one upsets. This will help show who's may have been a fluke and who's is the real deal. I expect a Chicago victory.

New England vs. New York Jets-This will show who has the balance of power in the AFC East with Brady gone and it'll prove whether Favre is really mixing with his team well enough to make a playoff run. I see the Jets coming out on top.

Philadelphia vs. Dallas-Possibly the two most powerful lineups in the entire NFL right now and this will prove who's got the better team, McNabb or Romo. As much as my teeth are grinding as I say this, Dallas gets the victory.
