Its the same console with the same features, bad waay to try and spin it. Can the " switch lite" actually switch? Or is it just a deticated handheld? Yea...thought so. |
Can the ps portal work if you don’t own an actual ps5?
his argument is far better than trying to claim the ps portal is a console? It’s an accessory. A controller with a little tv on it.

Switch will be the winner and i will declare it as such once it passes 156, you can do whatever you want to try to cope with that but your cope isnt going to change the facts sorry to say |
You can do that if you want. Just expect to be treated the same way as someone who declares that the earth is flat.

Is this sarcasm? ChatGPT being called “unbiased”? (And 8 people agree??) The prompt you feed ChatGPT will have a major influence on the output you get. For instance, I’m always having to word myself in as neutral of a tone as possible when asking ChatGPT anything; otherwise, it’ll latch onto where I’m leaning and cater to that. (E.g. “Can you give me a non-abelian group of order 4?” ChatGPT: “Sure, here’s an example: [it’s an abelian group of order 4].”)

PSPortal can work without a PS5 with the most recent Cloud update. I actually threw this question around a few days ago, and it seems the consensus is this: All units sold prior to the Cloud update were accessory purchases and thereby do not count toward to overall PS5 total. All future purchases should not count toward the PS5 total unless Sony begins marketing the device as a PlayStation 5 Portable. Otherwise, you could make the argument for Switch 2 counting toward Switch 1 sales figures, with Switch 2 merely having a few QoL & technical enhancements.

I mean, even with cloud, if we start counting PS Portal as a PS5 because of cloud games, then Xbox has been right all along about everything that has Xbox games being an Xbox.
Portal shouldn't count as a PS5, because it doesn't natively run PS5 games.
Switch Lite should count as a Switch, because it does natively run Switch games AND it has no exclusives (unlike Game Boy Color which had hundreds of games that didn't work on Game Boy).

^ Ok. That comment made sense, was non-combative, and was entertaining.
I think I’ll unsubscribe from this thread while I can honestly say the last thing I saw made me smile.
Edit: I type too slow. That one was for you Samus.
Good luck in Metroid Prime: Beyond.

Yes but unless Microsoft begins marketing (in this instance) “everything” specifically as an XBSXS console, then the hardware totals for XBSXS should not include those of other devices. (Also, if the hardware is not produced under Microsoft’s provision, unless the company behind hardware markets the devices as an XBSXS console, then it should not count either.)
