Biggest Pokémon launch on the Switch and that outside of the holidays. Dayum!
Pokemon always do well hence game freak doesnt put much effort in their games. They know if they do the bare minimum, people will buy lol.
I did not expect it to do better than mainline systems.. it will probably struggle to keep up with Sword and Shield, but super impressive numbers. Unreal for a game with PS1 textures

Not sure what your implying but Legends is actually ambitious and new for the franchise and for once WoM seems to be extremely good because of how fun the game is instead of the same regular formula they been going with

And it did it outside of the Holidays and while being released close to another game in the series 
Not sure how possible it is, but it'd be great if this somehow ended up outselling SW/SH, so they see that the games can be even bigger if they don't follow the same old formula.
