If you order on Sony customer relationship they send you and adapter for PSVR to use on PS5, and you can play the PS4 VR games on it, not sure if there is any that isn't compatible.

I'm hoping I can use my old games with the new headset. Maybe even with better performance.

Still can't get my hands on a PS5 but if possible, I'd love to get that adapter now. I know I'm getting the console sooner rather than later.

To order the adapter you only need your address, PSN account and serial of the PSVR so you can ask it now.

Thank you! I'm afraid that Sony will pull a Microsoft and discontinue the adapter like Xbox did with the Kinect Adapter. I need to have mine secured before that time. I'll try to order it when I get home from work this evening

What that comparison tells me is that Quest 2 is an impressive piece of hardware. That small field of view is a big detractor. But other than that, it sounds pretty awesome.

Yeah, as someone used to HTC Vive, OQ2 has notably smaller FoV - though after a while I got used to it (not sure how would I react if I was used to something with really good FoV, like PIMAX). I said this in few other threads, I did complete 180 on OQ2, first thinking it's not yet time for standalone headsets, to really appreciating and enjoying it after my kids bought it. It's marvelous piece of hardware for that $300 price.

Yep, I was worried because I asked almost one year after launch that they would move from free adapter to either paid or not available anymore. The process to request one was quite simple. You will fill a form, receive an e-mail and confirm.

This is all you need
https://global.support.playstation.com/s/pscamera-adaptor

I assume it will direct it to your local settings automatically. It was bugged for Canada (didn't accept Canadian postal codes) yet putting down some dummy code while writing the real postal code on address line 2 did the trick. It arrived a week later. It's just a converter for the camera plug to USB plug.

The official site doesn't work right for Brazil so I did through the tellphone of the PS support, dunno where he is, but that probably would work for him as well.

smart move, especially with the focus on eye-tracking (something neither the Quest 2 or Index have)

That is fantastic. Can you repost that on the PS Nation so I don`t steal your credits posting this there?
