While any extreme fanboyism is toxic. I can't deny to this day Sony's are the most toxic ones in my experience. In fact they remind me a lot of Boston sports fans. The worst fans ever. Insanely toxic. Arrogant. Act like total pricks. This is not saying everyone who is a fan is toxic. No, just the fanboys. IMO Nintendo fans seem generally ignorant to a number of series not from Nintendo but mostly benign. Xbox is somewhat bro like which can be annoying and on occasion pretty toxic. Sony fanboys, it feels like they all have the same personality.

I get it, some people really love certain companies and products, I'm guilty of it, I'm a die hard biased Lou Reed fan, but none of the companies are our friends, the almighty dollar always comes first. Before we talk about Playstation fanboys, don't forget, all the Xbox social media influencers who knowingly spread FUD or downplayed the PS5 prior to launch. They cancel each other out. Fanboys of all 3 are all pretty equally terrible imo altho I understand why sony fanboys are understood as the worst since they’re probably the most numerous. The normal fanbases though as a whole I dont rly mind. Everyone has preferences for one of the 3’s types of games generally and thats completely fine
