Happy for him. It Takes Two was really great.

I am more shocked not a single Nintendo exclusive game was announced! I was not expecting that lol. Goodnight, people!
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
Holy shit, the madlad fucking did it, he went and took the GOTY.
Few years back he was shit talking the awards and now he goes in and takes the main award, holy shit he had the balls and he went for the top.
Hats off to that crazy lad.

Deep Down, I knew it was going to be for It Takes Two, they always give it to the game that is “different” and “unique”
just like 2019, when Nobody were predicting sekiro, I thought it has the chance and it did.
Funny enough, at the end he said “Neil, you’re a great inspiration”. Good to see talent sees another talent.

Just felt like the selection and lineup of nominees this year was notably weaker than in years past. And the world premieres and reveals couldn't make up for it.
Outside of Sonic, there was nothing this year that got me personally invested or hyped. Oh well.

Seemed like It takes two was the least likely to win. That was a surprise.

I miscounted. Every year they change up their order, names for categories, sometimes they merge them and sometimes split apart, sometimes they add entirely new categories. Then they drop some in bunches rapid fire, so I'm frantically typing lol. The mini concerts, I'm convinced, are Geoff's way of having sympathy on those of us trying to catch up lol. |
It's silly it just clutters up the awards, there should be just the standard awards that we are used to, if they want to add other more esoteric awards then they should use them in a pre award show with Trunk's hosting ,it seems from this thread he would like that.
PS Surely an AI of your quality couldn't get flustered.
Research shows Video games help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Yeah I mean I'd expect Metroid Dread or something to take it. It takes Two is a bit of an off key pick for GOTY.
Can't believe "fuck the Oscars" guy won, hilarious twist.
This years show made last years look like a masterpiece if i'm being honest. I went in with low expectations and was still underwhelmed.
Surprisingly Sonic was the most interesting thing announced for me lol.
