Around the Network

Hm. Looks like Sony has managed to increase their supply of SP5s and that really shows us, more than doubliong the numbers it made some weeks ago. Now there's only the subject of the games and why it's selling so few games compared to the number of consoles sold. Who knows, maybe the digital sales are sky high but, if that's the case, why did the digital only version sell so bad compared to the full version?

Anyway, that's for another debate. Thanks for the numbers, polofresco.

Please excuse my bad English.

I was wondering what would be the top selling game in Spain that week. The suspense was killing me. Who would have thunk it'd be GTA V!

The digital-only PS5 selling a lot less than the regular PS5 is because Sony produces a lot less digital-only PS5s due to taking higher losses on it. In other words, most consumers do not have the choice which version they are going to buy; either they buy the regular one for €499 or no PS5 at all.

Thanks for the heads up. The situation is probably worse now that at launch since, unlike the other, the model with the disc drive is no longer at a loss.

But that makes the lack of physical sales situation more strange.
