The digital-only PS5 selling a lot less than the regular PS5 is because Sony produces a lot less digital-only PS5s due to taking higher losses on it. In other words, most consumers do not have the choice which version they are going to buy; either they buy the regular one for €499 or no PS5 at all.

Thanks for the heads up. The situation is probably worse now that at launch since, unlike the other, the model with the disc drive is no longer at a loss.

But that makes the lack of physical sales situation more strange.
