There's some great smaller scale games from Japan Studio's like LocoRoco (puzzle/platformer) and Gravity Rush Remaster (action adventure) on PS4. And more on PS Now like Tokyo Jungle, Patapon etc - should it be available in your country.

Highly recommend Flower and Journey too.

Since everyone is recommending Gravity Hush this is the next I will add on my list ;)

It's an action adventure. Is the gameplay similar to any famous game?

Oh yeah whoops, I just meant as in for console exclusives. I actually played through Journey on PC, not PS

I'd recommend checking out Concrete Genie, The Last Guardian, Dreams, Gravity Rush 2, Resogun, Flower, Journey, Fat Princess Adventures, Helldivers & Patapon.

In terms of scope, Uncharted Lost Legacy & inFamous First Light have AAA production, but are short (6 - 8 hours) & they fall under genres you are interested in. Until Dawn also falls under this category & is criminally underrated lol.
