I really like the atmosphere this game gives off, and the gameplay looks so fluid.

There were many times over the last decade when it felt like Metroid was either dead and buried or would better off be, so seeing it being brought back with such apparent quality, actually being marketed, and looking like it might finally become a breakout hit after decades as a relatively niche seller is a bit surreal. In an awesome way though.

OT: Yeah, looks pretty good.
Looking better with the new trailer. Feels like this engine could be used for the upcoming 3D Metroid on the Switch 2.
This looks like a dream come true. Literally, it's everything I could have hoped for an hypothetical Metroid 5... maybe even more. It looks INSANELY good. Like... GOTY material good. Sakamoto and Mercury Steam have really crafted something Metroid fans will absolutely enjoy. It's... it's pure hype. That's what this trailer is. That's what Metroid Dread is.
I've long felt that as great as the Switch is, it's been kinda lacking in great exclusives, but with games like this, BOTW2, Splatoon 3, and likely more to be announced, it seems like this is on track to finally change. That's been the one thing holding the system back from being a best of all time contender, and this looks like a big step in the right direction.
