Forums - Gaming - Capcom Platinum Sellers List Updated to June 30, 2021

Im glad to see MHW + Iceborne is doing over 20m, its easily one of the best games i've played the last 10 years, its the single best MH ive played hands down. The franchise is doing so well in the west now, but its so consistently good it should've happened some years ago.

Disappointed to see RE7/Village doing so well. Looks like the franchise is going to keep going down a route that I'm not interested in. Honestly would prefer more games like RE6 than those two, and 6 wasn't really good.

What about them do you not like?

Because according to the rumors/leaks the RE game for Switch, Outrage, is going to be third person and a continuation of the Revelations games.

Are the original releases of RE5 and RE6 really still shipping 100K units each a quarter? That is impressive. I would think those are mostly PC sales. Can't imagine PS3 and 360 gamers are still buying in those numbers.

DMC 5 numbers are AWESOME! Best selling in the series!

and switch sales, have always on top 30 with big discounts, and revelations 1+2 too.

It's more likely that the Switch versions are counted with the PS4 and XOne versions.

Weren't HD games meant to bankrupt Capcom?

My main issue is the lack of zombies. I also don't like 4/5 for the same reason. I don't really want a "horror" game, I just want a zombie game. Haven't really enjoyed an RE game that much since they left Raccoon city and I don't see that changing any time soon. I also don't really like the 1st person perspective, although I can deal with that, I mean I love Dying Light and that's 1st person, but it's also an excellent zombie game which RE hasn't been for ages.

Yeah, it's more or less why I consider Dying Light the new definitive zombie style game, over RE, which seems more focused now on fantasy elements and ooze monsters. Gone are the days when the focus was placed on a pharma company making undead style bioweapons. Now it's all about "families" and recreated attempts at trying to spoof old existing films like Texas Chainsaw massacre and Evil Dead (none of which I ever wanted, because we already have those films and we already have games like Dead by daylight).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

They're at their all time high point right now with HD games.

Really sad that more people haven’t experienced Okami. It’s such a beautiful game.
