Reading all of these comments, there is little that I can add .. but I will try to do so anyway.
It does not appear that it is in the core business model of this small company to do much on non-high-end-graphics systems. I may not like them, but until I am willing to put up my money to tell them what to do, I cannot really be too upset. Not seeing the game you want on the system you play has been part of video games since the beginning.
Meanwhile, if the CEO was trying to be funny, his sense of humor did not translate in the quotes. If the CEO was serious in his comments, he is dilusional. Given that people have said that Epic has never admitted to the less-than-expected/stellar sales of UT3, this could be the case.
Finally, the fanboy defenses and the Wii-bashing has been done over and over and over again. But the proof is in the sales numbers which have shown more and more Wii sales -- hardware and software.

Thats subjective. I have the same amount of fun playing SMG as I do Gears of War. Neither I feel is better than the other but both are great.

Actually, Capps pretty much said exactly how I feel. I've had the Wii for a month and I think it's completely overrated. The motion controls, along with the last gen graphics really doesn't do it for me. I'm not feeling any new gaming experiences. I'm sure he is very happy with the Gears of War sales and doesn't feel a need to put the game on other consoles.

Am I the only one who feels like this guy hit right on the money? I play the wii, and i get bored with it....FAST! even at a party. Also this technology is nothing new.....ever hear of duckhunt? That doesn't even require a sensor bar either. It is a step backward. As for those Million seller third party games....they're subpar other then Resident Evil 4, which sold a lot because its a tested formula that most have already played. Same with guitar hero... The others IMO are completly sub par. Its kind of like saying, " Its ok if you make a crappy game for a quick buck. We'll buy it!"
If the ps3 and the xbox 360 go with there waggle and 360 mote ideas....good for them. It puts competition in the market and it will make developers actually have to put a little bit of effort into there games....however i worry it's a little to late. Many already have the wii, and many like its price point. Like i said, i personally don't like the wii cause i havn't played anything with qaulity in it that keeps me entertained. Even if the newer systems do get there motes i probably won't buy one until a game that is an absolute must have comes on it.
The only game that has me even considering the wii is monster hunter 3, but at the same time im still pissed that its just a rehash with new levels....so there needs to be more.
