Hi all, just wanted to say that I love reading all of your responses to this! Some of them are hilarious (and also hilariously possible?!)!
As for my own prediction, at first I figured Nintendo would go with some splashy name, like Super Switch or whatever. But the latest rumors keep saying that Nintendo plans to phase-out the current standard Switch in place with this upcoming new one. In that case, I would be willing to bet money on Nintendo going with their tried-and-true formula of calling it the New Nintendo Switch.
This would be the same strategy as the 3DS to New 3DS (which if you recall, did eventually replace the original 3DS completely). Nintendo did it again with 2DS to New 2DS (and again, this ultimately resulted in New 2DS being the only one available). AND Nintendo has already shown this year that they still love that whole "New" moniker - just see New Pokémon Snap. We are talking about a sequel to game from 1999!!! Did it get a number 2? Subtitle? Nope - just slap a "New" at the front of the title and call it a day, Nintendo says!
