This thread will be a list of PSP games that are close to hit the 500k ( Gold ) or 1000k sales ( Platinum ) . The thread idea comes from spdk1 , whom made many more for different systems .

Note : When I write near a game Platinum ( 1 ) I mean Platinum edition . Platinum edition games are European released games , which have hit the 250k sales in that region alone , and afther 9 months Sony cut the games price to 20 Euros . Do not mistake it with our Platinum rank which means a million seller .

Greatest Hits games are the US Platinum ( 1 ) sellers but PSP the best ! games dont need so many copys sold as the other two ( actually I could find no data at all for this , just that most games have passed the 100k in Japan ) .

Games that are not tracked under a weekly basis in Others are usually undertarcked . Some by only a couple of hundred copys , other much more severly . Also , many games , even if they are tracked by weekly basis in the US /Others are a bit undertracked ( ex : Syphon Filter : Dark Mirror ) .

My english is bad ... I mean bad . So please , before you would make comments about it I would want to say that I know , and dont be a smartass . Also , my list is not as stylish as apdk1s , but in the same time if you have any data write it down here , and I will post it to the games section .

Going for the Platinum :

Burnout Legends : 0.99 million The game is not tracked in Others on wekkly basis , and the numbers are the same since I first saw the game listed , even though I can still see it even at my local store . Also , there is no Japanese numbers , so combined they should give out more than 10k . Its allready there , its just not listed . One of the first Platinum ( 1 ) sellers in Europe .

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 : 0.99 million Again , the game has no weekly tracking in Others , where it sells the best . US sales are missing , so this is probably another Platinum seller . Also its a Platinum ( 1 ) seller on Ithers .

Need For Speed Carbon : 0.96 million The game has no weekly Other tracking , no Japan , and it was still apearing in the top 200 US sales a couple of weeks ago . 40k was probably sold long ago , but who knows ... Also , its Platinum ( 1 ) in Others , so the smaller price should have pushed some good ammount there .

Lumines : 0.95 million The game has absolutly no Japanese datat , even if it comes from a fairly popular Japanese developer . It has no weekly tracking in Others , and its a Platinum ( 1 ) game , so its possibly a million seller , especially that sales have went up in the period when the game could have been used to downgrade PSPs .

Ratchet & Clank : Size Matters : 0.53 million The game is missing entirely Others data , even though the game became a Platinum ( 1 ) hit at the beginning of the year , and it still apeares in the top selling PSP games list in many Others countryes ( look at the weekly PAL sales ) . Even if the game stops selling , in worst case we will see an 800k + seller , though Im positive that it had passed 900k before ( note : its only my personal speculation , but if anyone looks at Other sales of many game they will see that Usually games are selling better in Others ) .

God of War : Chains of Olympus : 0.58 million As I mentioned last time this game was moved up into the possible to become Platinum list . Numbers where adjusted , the legs are good , and a new bundle is comming in June . It will hit and pas the million by a big margin IMO ( Maybe even more judging by the sales of Daxter ) . The game is not released in Japan , but it will be . Expect a max 40k boost from that region .

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 : 0.51 million The game just passed the 500k . Who knows , with some extreme Others numbers and afther it becomes a Platinum ( 1 ) hit it might hit one day the million .

Going for the Gold :

Fifa Street 2 : 0.48 million The game has no weekly tracking in Others , no Japanese numbers at all , and its a Platinum ( 1 ) hit . Probably a gold seller for some time now .

Worms Open Warfare : 0.48 million The game has no weekly Others tracking , and its a Platinum ( 1 ) hit .

Dynasty Warriors : 0.48 million The game has absolutly no Others data , and seeing that it managed to sell 18k in the US alone , this game deffinatly passed the 500k mark .

Tomb Raider : Legend : 0.47 million The game has no weekly Other tracking , plus its a Platinum ( 1 ) release . The Japanese sales are missing entirely to .

Patapon : 0.30 milllion The game with its unusually apealing style and small pricetag managed to allready do 300k , and the legs are looking good . It could do 500k if it manages to stay in gamers minds untill this fall .

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix : 0.46 million Has absolutly no Others or Japanese numbers . Its not a Platinum ( 1 ) seller ( at least I couldent find it as it would be ) , but it deffinatly passed the 500k mark .

Metal Gear Ac!d : 0.44 million The game has no Others data , and it managed to do 32k in the US . Even if its not a Platinum ( 1 ) game it still managed to do over 500k .

NBA Live 07 : 0.43 million The game has absolutly no Others or Japanese numbers , and even though its not the most popular game outside of the US , it could have hit 500k .

Ape Escape : On the loose : 0.42 million The game has no Others data , and no Japanese numbers . Its not a Platinum ( 1 ) game , but its a PSP the best ! ( Japanese cheap edition ) game , meaning that it sold over 100k in Japan alone .

NBA Live 06 : 0.41 million Same as with NBA Live 07 .

Gangs of London : 0.39 million The game has no weekly tracking in Others . Still the chances are slim that it ever made the 500k . But as a Platinum ( 1 ) seller , Il put it up here .

Fight Night Round 3 : 0.37 million The game has no Others or Japanese numbers , and seeing that it was pretty popluar here when it was released , I reckon that it hit the 500k .

Namco Museum battle Collection : 0.36 million Again , this game has no Others or Japanese numbers . The 36k was made just by the US alone , so its a serious contender for 500k . Its not a Platinum ( 1 ) or a PSP the best ! game though .

Tales of the World : Radiant Mythology : 0.35 million No Other data for this one , and Im pretty shure it never made it to the 500k mark , but still , Il add it .

Mortal Kombat : Unchained : 0.33 million The game has no Others data , but seeing how popular it was here , I bet it had passed at least the 200k sales there .

Sega Genesis Collection : 0.31 million Same as Namco Museum Battle Collection , though it was not released in Japan . Also , the game just came back into the weekly 200 top games in the US , so it has some pretty good legs, for a game that couldent brake 2 k in its first week .

Marvle Nemesis : Rise of the Imperfects : 0.29 million Its not a Platinum ( 1 ) game , and I doubt that it sold much in Japan . I dont think that it ever reached 500k , maybe it passed the 400 , but untill any data comes in , Il write it up .

Coded Arms : 0.28 million The game has absolutly no Japanese or Others sales . Interestingly enough the game is not a Platinum ( 1 ) game , but it is a PSP the best ! game , which is weird for a PSP FPS game . The chances for this passing the 500k are solid , mainly because it was the first FPS on the PSP , it got a sequel , and it was the only decent FPS untill Medal of Honor Heroes .

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 07 : 0.26 million The game is Platinum ( 1 ) in Others , so the game has passed the 500k for some time now . We only need to update the numbers .

Dragon Ball Z : Shin Budokai : 0.22 million the game has only US data and its a Greatest Hits game , and the serie is fairly popular in Japan , and it became pretty fast a Platinum ( 1 ) range game in Others . It had passed the 500k by some time now .

Killzone Liberation : 0.21 million The game is Greatest Hits in the US , meaning that it passed 250 k in the US alone ( the game is undertracked ) and its a Platinum ( 1 ) hit for a long time now . It has passed the 500k by a lot , but seeing the popularity of the game online and amongst PSP owners I would say that the game could have passed even the 700k sales .

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes : 0.21 million The game has only US data . It did 70k in Japan , so the question is : did the game managed to do 22k in the Others region ?

300 March to Glory : 0.19 million There is no Others data , but the game is still the one of the best selling games in some European regions . Still I doubt that it will ever reach 500k .

Sonic Rivals 2 : 0.19 million The game has no Others data , though its a pretty popular game in Europe , judging by the first games sales . Also , it will probably end up near 300k in the US , jusging by its great legs .

Syphon Filter : Dark Mirror : 0.19 million The game is a Greatest Hits title , meaning that its undertracked . Probably sold ~ 300k in the US . But its not a Platinum ( 1 ) hit , so its a big questionmark if it ever passed the 500k .

Loco Roco : 0.17 million It has only Japanese numbers , but in worst case the game did over 700k . The game is both Paltinum ( 1 ) and a Greatest Hits game and a PSP the Best ! game .

Medieval Resurrection : 0.16 million The game is a Platinum ( 1 ) hit in Others , and seeing how old the game is its probably a bit undertracked in the US to . Its an easy contender for a 500k seller .

Prince of Persia : Revelations : 0.16 million Same as Medieval Resurrection .

Thrillville : 0.15 million The game has only US data , and even that is undertrcled , mainly because the game is a Greatest Hits title , meaning that it did over 250k in the US alone . Still I couldent find a single data about Others sales .

The Sims 2 Pets : 0.15 million The game has only US data , and its a Platinum hit . Worst case it did 400k worldwide , but it probably managed to break the 500k sales .

Lemmings : 0.08 milion The game has only some old US data , and its one of the first Platinum ( 1 ) games . Still , I doubt that it made it .

Burnout Dominator : 0.01 million The game has only Japanese data , but its a Platinum ( 1 ) game in Europe , and the game could easily do ~ 200k in the US .

Ridge Racer 2 : 0.07 million The game has only Japanese sales enlisted . It was never released in the US , but its a long time favorite Platinum ( 1 ) game .

Very nice list, it's a shame to see games right on the edge of a million just being ignored.

Well it's a shame to see many of those games sell not so well..., particually KZ Liberation, which was an amazing title, which I did pick up after it went platinum in Europe

I don't think psp software is tracked to well on VG Chartz , shame considering how good the handheld is.

Didn't know Metal Gear Acid sold that well, good news.

Between Acid, Acid 2, Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus Kojima Productions has been supporting the PSP very well.

 Actually the Ac!d games are from Konamis Japan studio , and Kojima had nearly nothing to do with them . Only Portable Ops and + are Kojima games . Still , Konami helped the PSP a lot :)

If the PSP was properly tracked in others, the software wouldn't look so dismal all the time.
