Kojima is massively overrated, and probably a bit of an egomaniac.

Naughty Dog games are mechanically average at best, and not particularly engaging. If someone else made the exact same games, just with industry standard production values, they wouldn't be nearly as revered.

Call of Duty multiplayer hasn't been fun since the original MW.

Bioshock was boring, and largely wasted it's setting.

Between Dishonored 2, and Prey, Arkane have become one of the best devs in the business, and they're massively underappreciated.

The main Bethesda team hasn't knocked a game out of the park since Fallout 3.

Sekiro is far superior to Dark Souls.

Mortal Kombat, while entertaining on various levels, isn't really that good of a fighting game.

Hunt: Showdown is the best battle royal game on the market, and it's not close.

In it's effort to "stay fresh," and sell more copies, Assassin's Creed has completely lost it's identity. The old games were much better.

Titanfall, as a franchise, was the best shooter we've had in....maybe ever...and it went completely to waste.

Japanese games, by and large, are almost always inferior to western games. JRPGs in particular, are largely terrible.

Battlefield games, and competitive multiplayer games in general for that matter, are better when the player count isn't astronomically high. 64 players in match is too many. It's too chaotic, you never get a feel for the players you're up against, and ultimately - unless you're like a top 5% player - you're not going to feel that you had a true impact on the outcome of the match. The "nerfed" console version of BF3, with condensed maps, and 32 player Conquest was a sweet spot.

Well a lot of these 'unpopular' opinions are actually popular here and other forums lol. Like "Rockstar and Naughtydog games are overrated or trash" xP But yeah VGC gonna be VGC.

-eSports should be abolished. People should play video games and compete for love of doing so, not for money.
-VR is fun, but also a gimmick. It will never be mainstream.
-Anita Sarkeesian video game critiques were mostly right.
